Ciscos Customer Experience (CX) organization is one of our fastest growing teams, and the CX Engineering & Product Incubation organization is redefining how Cisco delivers value to our customers & partners via our product portfolio. This team is charged with securing the offerings from CX Engineering & Product Incubation.

What You'll Do

At Cisco you will work on groundbreaking security solutions and gain experience in the newest technologies. You will use your skills to perform penetration tests on Cisco's world-class product connecting all of Cisco's products through one cloud-based customer center. You will make the impossible possible using your understanding of applications and the cloud to find and demonstrate security flaws. You will not only be able to break security but work with developers to help develop fixes. You are passionate about security, enjoy breaking systems and building defenses.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of an innovative security team redefining the way that Cisco protects data stored in the cloud. Our team is passionate about security and applies savvy risk-based thinking to create the best outcomes for our customers.

You'll work with other teams within CX Engineering, such as top skilled cloud operations, application, and platform engineers. You'll also work closely with other security professionals across Cisco to implement a new way to secure the Cloud.

Do you enjoy finding flaws in critical cloud systems, designing mitigations to thwart motivated and inventive adversaries? • Achieved a Bachelors degree
• 5+ years experience in pen testing, cloud security, application security, and secure coding
• Have a certification such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Familiar with Cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Familiar with a variety of computer languages (Java, C/C++, Ruby, Go, Python, etc)
• Operating systems and secure configurations
• Familiar with common Cryptographic protocols such as TLS and SSH, public and private key cryptography and common misuses of those protocols
• Common web application security and attacks (OWASP top 10)
• Familiar with common security tools, scanners and web proxies
• Experience with common Pen-testing tools
• Ability to reverse engineer applications
• Build scripts/code for custom exploitation
• Experience with software vulnerability assessments
• Ability to document and present security vulnerabilities and work with engineering teams to get the issues resolved

US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work this position will perform and the government customers with which the role will work

You Are Highly Capable Of

Rapidly and thoroughly analyzing cloud environments and applications to continuously find security flaws, work with engineering teams to get the flaws addressed while mentoring others to better understand nuanced security issues.
