Who You'll Work With

As aConsulting Engineer, you will report directly into the Customer Experience (CX) team with primary responsibility for thedesign,installation, integration, customization and delivery of Cisco products focusing on cloud and networking orchestration and automation. There will be significant customer interaction including on-site delivery forWorkshops,POCs, Pilots and Production deployments. You may travel up to 50% per year - though travel will vary depending on the project.

* Youdesign,install, deploy, or configure Enterprise, Commercialand Service Providersolutions for customers
* Integrate systems to multiple enterprise applications
* Transfer knowledge of implementedproducts, solutionsand processes to customer in hands-on sessions, and by creatingcustomer-facingdocumentation
* You're able to explain technical issues and present information in a concise manner to both technical and non-technical personnel
* You maintain effective working relationships with assigned customers and project managers
* You effectively work independently and as part of a team to implement solutions for customers
* Generatesnetwork configurations, MOPs, implementation plansfrom Low Level Designsfor highly complex networks
* Plans and executes highly complex Upgrade and Migration activity

Minimum Qualifications

* Typically requires BS, CS, or University degree equivalent and 5 to 8+ years relevant experience in network engineering ortelecommunications support environment. Advanced degree strongly preferred
* CCIE or relevant 5 years experience
* Communication skills to include conflict management, negotiation,presentation,demonstration, and writtencommunication
* Excellenttroubleshooting skills
* Document creation of technicaldocumentation, for internal and external customer such as method of procedures, solution design, installation procedures, testing procedures,troubleshooting guides, etc.

Desired Skills

The Customer Delivery Consulting Engineer primary role is positioning, architecting and delivering service solutions around Cisco's Enterprise, Commercialand Service Providertechnologies and integrating them into the customer's overall architecture and design. TheConsultingEngineer will be expected to work on Enterprise, Commercialand Service Provider segments. This position will help drive sales, serve assubjectmatterexpert, lead delivery efforts and mentor other technical consultants within the team.Since this is a high profile position with interface to Cisco's premier customers, travel is required and can be anywhere from 2550% of the time.

Experience/Skills: The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and expert knowledge of Cisco's products and solutions. Candidate must be self-motivated,team oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. The following skillsets are thus desired of this candidate:

5-10 years within Advanced / Professional Service role(s)
3-5 years experience leading large-scale Enterprise,Commercial and Service ProviderDesign andimplementationengagements
Expert level knowledge in Routing and Switching technologies, such as MPLS, DMVPN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS VXLAN, LISP and VRF
Outstandingconsulting skills.Required 5-10 years experience in consulting roles.Ability to influence customer decisions and outcomes.Ability to gain customer trust quickly, and confidently articulate Ciscos strategies and architectures
Expert level knowledge in Data Center architecture
Experience with Nexus 9K and VXLAN
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership of large complex projects
Experience with CiscoCatalyst,Nexus platforms, VMWare, and server virtualization
One or more CCIE Preferred - R/S, SP, Security, Data Center
Nice to have experience high level / working knowledge of wireless, and ISE technologies required
Nice to have good, working knowledge of SDA, DNA and Viptela highly preferred
Nice to have 3-5 years experience leadingNetwork CentricACI Design and Implementation Engagements
Nice to have experience with ACI L4-7 and Firewall integration
Nice to have experience with ApplicationCentric ACI Design and Integration
Nice to have experience expert level knowledge in Cisco ACI architecture and products
Bachelors degree preferred

Experience in programming Python
Experience with UCS Central and/or UCS Director
Experience with Linux
