What You'll Do

By aligning business plans and priorities of customer executives, you will position Ciscos service capabilities and solutions. You will lead professional service or managed service proposals, by defining the service scope, building the commercial scheme, supporting customers purchasing process with sales members, and handing over project to service delivery team.

To develop services business in Cisco Japan service provider segment, you will analyze the market demands, create business opportunities, and lead initiatives by new service launch, or sales enablement with focus service offers. 


Responsibilities

1.      Lead service business proposals, especially for professional service and managed service, which needs cross architecture solutioning, detailed scoping, service level definition, and coordination with delivery members. Lead commercial scheme building, including quoting and SOW building with defined service scope and service level.

2.      Build customers executive level relationships, jointly with the account team, understand the business priorities, and position the best Cisco service solutions to solve business challenges.

3.      With holistic understanding of service providers system architecture, work with cross-functional groups (sales, product management, delivery, operations, marketing) to develop service strategy, lead opportunity creation, and support presales activities in service provider segment.

4.      Actively engage global BDM community, to share best practices and customer case study.

 

Who You Are

You are an independent self-starter, who is proactive and multi-tasking with a program management mind set to resolve conflicts. You have excellent verbal and written skills in communicating and positioning Ciscos Services value and capabilities to Client Executive audience. You have a proven track record of developing and winning multi-architecture contracts (multi-million $) among service provider market segments. Collaborating across global teams, you are able to program manage complex, global initiatives. You are a problem solver with experience in risk and issue management, escalation and resolution. You provide constructive coaching and feedback to all levels within the team as necessary.

 

Our minimum qualifications are:

5+ years of technology professional career with strong consulting or services sales

experience Or; experience in sales support / solution development / BDM role

Experience of consulting, professional service delivery or sales experience in service provider segment, and understanding of customers operation process/tasks.

 IT architecture knowledge, especially for service providers platform, including network, mobility,  programmability, automation, and virtualization, as well as security, computing, endpoints, cloud service.

CxO level communication skill 

Native or fluent language skill both in English and Japanese

Ability to travel (target of 10%)

Education: Bachelors Degree

 

Preferred qualifications are;

Experience of consulting, professional service delivery or sales experience at Cisco or other multi-national companies

Strong knowledge of Ciscos product portfolio for service provider customers

Strong knowledge of Ciscos service portfolio and business operations (selling, quoting, ordering)

Project management skill and experience

Experience of work as product manager

Education: Master Degree
