The "Customer Experience (CX) Customer Success Specialists (CSS)" are a team of expert technical guides whose #1 focus is to deliver best-in-class customer experience. We help tackle business challenges with network-centric solutions that accelerate customer and partner success and dedication. Our success is measured through customer happiness metrics, industry recognition, and employee happiness scores. We help customers adopt and expand Cisco solutions by showing an impact on the customers business goals. We partner closely with Customer Success Executives, Success Programs Managers, sales accounts teams, delivery teams, partners and others.

What Youll Do

As a CSS, you're a guide to the client on your aligned product or architecture. Your mission is to assist the customer on their move to the next phase of the customer lifecycle and to visualize their future in the lifecycle. You will:

  • Deliver workshops and webinars (Accelerators and ATX - Ask-the-Expert) to a diverse set of customers that qualify, tailoring deliverables and driving business outcomes within the scope and timely engagement
  • Encourage customers to make tactical and strategic deployment decisions and supervise long term business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Account teams, Customer Success, and Partners to elevate customer adoption as well as address product concerns
  • Drive adoption and expansion of Cisco products by highlighting feature opportunities, winning use cases, and relevant strategies to customers and the Success team
  • Contribute to product and offer improvement by providing lifecycle feedback to CX Product Management and CX Success Programs Teams and assist lifecycle asset development and maintenance through rotations, asset development sprints, and/or stretch assignments with the Lifecycle Success team.

Who You Are

You are a technical specialist within Cross Architecture Analytics with plenty of hands-on technical expertise. You ideally have industry-recognized certifications and commit to continuous learning results orientation and partnership. You have:

  • Hands-on/Training on Automation - Ansible, Python, Terraform, Chef/Puppet, or other DevOps Configuration Management Tool.
  • Familiarity with REST API/NETCONF/RESTCONF/YANG/JSON or microservice.
  • Cloud Expertise in AWS, GCP, MS Azure is a bonus.
  •  Strong Networking skillls
  • Comfortable with Cisco different architecture - Data center , enterprise , collab and security .
  • Testing/CICD - Selenium/Robot Framework, Other Testing frameworks, Jenkins, Git is a plus.
  • We are looking for someone comfortable with programming/scripting and a mind set to pick up/learn new cutting edge technologies to help Cisco customers in adoption of it. Be an expert customer guide in their area of expertise
  • Ability to explain technical concepts, give clients mentorship and vision about the solution. You have a detailed understanding of the technical fundamentals of aligned technology/specialization areas, including features and use cases.
  • You articulate the technical features into business impact, you can easily talk about technology to non-technical people. You are also an active listener.
  • Strong English communication skills. Spanish and/or Portuguese a strong plus.

Strongly Preferred

  • AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, application performance monitoring, infrastructure visibility all a plus.
  • Suggested Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CCDP/ CCIE, Cisco Certified Success Specialist, CISM, CISSP
  • Past experience or industry knowledge of Partner / Reseller roles
  • Desire to assist partners with Cross-Architecture engagements that include Ciscos SSM satellite and other collector-based tools.
  • Familiarity with software and features of virtualization, containerization and experience with Cisco and/or 3rd party network collection tools.
