Prudential Mutual Fund Services (PMFS) serves as Fund Transfer Agent for the PGIM Fund Family, providing a full range of client services to owners of the PGIM Funds that have been opened an account at PMFS.

PMFS employees are dedicated to delivering responsive service in a flexible and accessible manner in a way that leverages technology to exceed customer, employee and shareholders expectations.

As a Customer Service Associate at PMFS ( Prudential Mutual Fund Service) , you will be focusing primarily on taking in bound 800-line service-related phone calls from account holders and financial professionals, providing World Class service to each caller. 
You will report directly to the Call Centers Manager, working under their mentorship to execute specific functions of service, such as processing financial transactions, address changes, providing tax information, explaining website functionality and capabilities, provide service on Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) as well as a number of other types of accounts.

You will also be cross-trained so that you can provide additional support in the Call Center including, but not limited to, ad-hoc projects, the support of other product materials, and project support of various initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:
Under general supervision, provides information to investors, policyholders, insureds and or financial advisors, field force and home office staff.
Receives, evaluates and answers customer inquiries which are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures.
Handles complex escalated situations that may require extensive research.
Uses multiple computer systems at once for tracking, information gathering, providing information, referrals, routine transactions troubleshooting.
May promote products services and provides technical guidance, information and procedural advice on a variety of complex customer service issues requiring knowledge of financial products and transactions.
Refers to department online records and procedures and or may consult with appropriate parties for needed information.
Requires extensive knowledge of company, products, and or services.
May be a unit product expert or have knowledge of multiple products.
Required to obtain FINRA licensing, Series 6, 63, 26 and/or 7.
Growing and developing existing knowledge of business practice and procedures, while learning and developing new procedures and marketing approaches
Understanding industry and FINRA regulations and applying them to the project as applicable
Utilizing, building, and/or updating standard operating procedures, written manuals and documents


Candidate should have previous experience with PMFS Operations, systems and process flow.
Direct experience working with clients, financial professionals and prospective clients via inbound phone call and via web devices to resolve complex inquiries.
College degree required (preferably in a business discipline)
Experience within the financial services industry a plus.
General knowledge of investment products, its industry and its regulatory environment
Very detail oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects at a time under tight deadlines
Detailed proofreading skills
Ability to remain focused and adapt to changes
Creative thinker and problem solver with strong analytical skills
Highly self-motivated and dedicated
Strong written and verbal skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Tableau, a plus
Strong data analysis skills required working with speech analytics software
Desire to be a strong group contributor and continue to advance within the group
