Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCos beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada.

This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization. The Customer Development Rep role contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts. This person is responsible to manage key customer relationships and deliver against annual operating plans.

This role is part of the PBC Mega-City initiative. As more rural consumers start to migrate back into the urban cities to live, it opens up exponential growth opportunities for large population growth Megacities. There are five major Megacities in the US and the Baltimore/Washington market is one of them. PepsiCo is looking to grow exponentially over the next 5 years through step-change growth strategies, tactics, and new ways of going to a business. This Mega-City initiative will bring scale within the market and we need great people to help us reach our goals.

  • Account call coverage is 25% wired accounts and 75% new customer calls
  • Target Frito 500, Non-buying, & other White Space
Oversees assigned geography with responsibility for sales volume, revenue, product distribution, and equipment placement.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of fact-based selling experience
  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Consumer packaged goods experience
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • : This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
