What youll do

Customer Insights (CI) consists of Centralized beta management for the Cisco Security Business Group (SBG) products. The CI Project Specialist assists with administrative and operational activities for the CI team. The Project Specialist organizes and tracks required information for efficient decision making by the department management.

Who youll work with

Youll work with a very experienced and dedicated team that has a unique set of technical, project and customer facing skills. Youll also work directly with our Beta customer base a small subset of customers who have an enduring relationship with Cisco Security and are highly influential in our product direction. This is a great opportunity to join a team which works to get our product and service innovations in front of a dedicated customer base for continual improvement.

Who you are

  • Assist Beta managers with customer recruitment, scheduling and communications management.
  • Work with the Customer Insights team on projects tracking customer sentiment / Net Promoter Score.
  • Participate in Beta portal projects, such as testing new functionality and providing feedback.
  • Participate in regular meetings with the management to plan and track departmental business.
  • Manage a variety of long-term cross-organizational projects, including beta loaner purchase, tracking, and management of cross charges.
  • Assist and improve the effectiveness of tracking and reporting beta and forum feedback, including writing and editing process documents, assisting and training others.
  • Provide communications support to staff, including drafting various reports and reviewing and editing presentations, and various other department documents.

Experience and Skills

  • Undergraduate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a technical support role
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a project/program manager role
  • Able to quickly master operational process and tools
  • Expert written and oral communication
  • Experience tracking interactions in a Customer Relationship Management system
