What you'll do 

 

At Cisco, we are helping our customers accelerate their digital transformation. We are looking for a Product Manager to help develop new ecosystem solution offers in the DevNet and Customer Experience Ecosystem Success, DevCX, Business Unit. In this high-impact role, you will: 


  • Shape the future of Ciscos portfolio of industry and IT based ecosystem solution offers that include Cisco products, CX services, Solutions Plus Independent Software Vendors (ISV) products, and other partner services 

  • Analyze market segments, verticals, sizing and ideal customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for each segment 

  • Define offer structure, value exchange, market potential and forecast for this next generation portfolio that will be monetized through Ciscos DevNet Marketplace and other 3rd party marketplaces 

  • Drive interlock with the DevCX BU. CX product management teams, business units to co-design and co-sponsor these new offers, Industry Solutions Group, sales, partner organizations and ISV partners  

  • Work collaboratively across Field, Delivery, Sales Enablement, Partner Enablement, Marketing, Partner Organizations, etc. to drive adoption and bookings associated with these offers. 

  • Drive continual improvements to the solutions that increase value and address additional customer needs as well as improve efficiency to increase top line and bottom line on the offer. 

  • Drive relentless customer obsessions throughout the offer lifecycle 

  • Be a champion for the vision of the next-gen portfolio across Cisco 

 

Who You'll Work With 

 

When you work with us, you'll regularly influence our CX, Business Units, Partners, ISVs, and Field Teams enabling them to make effective and aligned decisions on our offer design and strategy while we transform Cisco's overall sales and go-to-market approach. You'll build a strong network of cross-functional partners across CX and Cisco to help our business grow profitably. As a trusted advisor, you will synthesize your insights from customer and partner interactions as well as from the field and delivery to drive improvements in our portfolio. 

 

You will join a high-performing, well-respected team who exists to make Cisco's customers successful across the customer life cycle. Customer Experience is the perception of CISCO's brand across the customer life cycle, and it starts after the customer buys our product. The offers and associated monetization will ensure our customers love using our products, love implementing our product, love our support, and eventually become an evangelist and advocate for Cisco products and services. 

 

Your work will include the following responsibilities: 

 

  • Conduct analysis, develop recommendations and drive creation of new solutions with Cisco products, CX services, Solutions Plus Independent Software Vendors (ISV) products, and other partner services aligned with Ciscos sales plays and use case priorities 

  • Partner with Product BE on customer centric business problem solving 

  • Lead offer creation and Ideation in specific markets and industries.  

  • Assist with engaging with sales and partners to drive the strategy, offerings and value proposition of the portfolio, vetting out the financial models in this value exchange 

  • Develop portfolio requirements and policies through customer interaction, market research, quantitative sizing, competitive analysis, and by working with sales and partner organizations 

  • Develop value proposition and marketing messaging to address customer, partner, analyst, press, and employee audiences 

  • Drive pricing, product/service bundles, and forecasting analysis 

  • Monitor the financial performance of the offers and monitor adoption and progress 

  • Represent Cisco at executive briefings, industry trade shows, sales meetings, advisory boards, and Cisco events by conveying our strategy and portfolio approach; leverage these connections to advance Cisco's business 


Who You Are 

  • You excel at solving complex problems with analytical skills; you back up your recommendations with strong data. You know your customers and you excel at transforming market dynamics and business requirements into a successful product strategy. 

  • You can convey the most complex concepts in the simplest of terms. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural business environment and you can work with a range of sensitive and confidential issues. 

  • You have familiarity with Agile methodologies and Design Sprints 

  • You have deep understanding of Design Thinking and its application for Support Offers including Journey Mapping. 

  • You have understanding of APIs and Analytics 

 

At minimum, we require: 

  • 10+ or more years of Product Management experience 

  • Experience with Cisco CX 

  • You have experience in specific vertical markets such as health care, education, retail, etc. or in the Services Product Management space.
