The Customer Care Specialist handles inbound and outbound calls from internal and external customers to respond to inquiries and resolve concerns and questions. Responds promptly and follows up on customer interactions as needed and assists with obtaining missing insurance or diagnosis information utilizing available resources.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • First contact within billing call queue to respond to patient questions / concerns
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to resolve patient issues
  • Work cooperatively as part of a team environment and assist in other reimbursement functions as needed
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to handle conflicting priorities
  • Good communication skills / written and verbal, possess critical thinking skills, self - motivated, punctual and reliable
  • Perform additional tasks as required
