Auto req ID: 245140BR Job Description As a Control & Reporting Analyst Insurance Accounting, you will: Be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting for captive insurance companies Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, cash flow analysis, and preparation of related financial statements Assist Manager in review of Annual statutory financial statements, Captive Board of Director's meeting decks, and Annual Reports Work closely with Risk Management Team to understand possible risks and opportunities and provide them with timely and accurate information as requested Work closely with Captive Manager throughout the year to facilitate period closes and audits Prepare quarterly Variance Analysis reports for the Consolidation Group Work with an external actuary to prepare and record annual true-up in respect to insurance programs Maintain cash flow support for actuals and assist with analytics Work on special projects as required Qualifications/Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Financial Reporting CPA Preferred Qualifications: SAP GL and HFM reporting experience Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy Strong Excel and Word skills Experience in financial statement preparation Effective professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Challenge the status quo Comfortable interacting with various personnel Builds trust with business partners and demonstrates the ability to influence outside of direct reporting line and across functions Expresses the motivation and curiosity to learn new concepts Shows flexibility and adaptability in managing new concepts, ideas, technologies Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
