**Continuous Improvement Champion - Ringaskiddy API Site**



**This will be a 23 month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment position.**



The implementation of Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) is a key focus area for Ringaskiddy API site. The Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion role will be dedicated to Continuous Improvement (CI) across our business.



Reporting to the Value Stream Function, with a dotted line to the site IMEx lead, the primary role of the CI Champion is to be the key influencer within the Value Stream and plant area to drive, coach, lead and build on IMEx deployment. The CI Champion will drive a CI culture within the Plant area and employ IMEx standards to deliver the CI goal.



**Responsibilities include:**



+ Agree and prioritize CI goals & metrics with the Value Stream and each Process Centric Team in the Main Production Facilities

+ Develop & Co-ordinate the weekly Tier 1 and 2 CI meetings

+ Partner with the Process Centric Teams (PCTs) & C/O Teams to ensure all CI ideas are:



+ Generated from data and captured appropriately

+ Prioritized using a structured approach (benefit v's difficulty) to ensure that the priority projects are delivering value and are escalated and tracked at appropriate CI Loop

+ Using the right methodology and tools (Just Do It, M1-M4)

+ Ensure that the active CI projects are up to date & progressing in a timely manner,

+ Ensure completed projects appropriately recognised and value is captured for potential budget incorporation



+ Build internal capability by coaching PCT members on the CI process, root cause analysis, risk analysis and definition of solutions for key issues

+ Drive development and execution of IMEx elements

+ Work with IMEx Site Lead to develop element owners across the Value Streams

+ Lead bigger CI projects (significant CI projects or green belts eg C/O, OEE, Robustness, etc.)

+ Partnering with Digital Manufacturing & leading digital deployments in relevant areas, incorporating digital tools where appropriate to deliver value and building capability of teams on digital tools

+ Partnering with technology site leads to identify new technologies for the Value Streams.

+ Sharing & standardization of CI approach or initiatives between Plants

+ Build strong working relationships across the site CI network



**Qualifications, Skills and Experience:**



This position requires excellent technical, organisational, communication and leadership skills, and requires the successful colleagues to perform with confidence demonstrating the Pfizer values. Yellow Belt certification is desirable.



The successful candidate should have a proven track record in the area of process and chemistry support for API manufacturing, operations or technical operations and have demonstrated leadership in pursuing proactive approaches to improving all aspects of API manufacturing.
