What You'll Do

The Cisco Contact Center PSS (Product Sales Specialist) plays the crucial role of setting Ciscos Contact Center sales strategy and driving deals to closure. This role requires a unique background in selling enterprise software to Line of Business and IT buyers. Experience selling CX technologies such as Analytics, AI/ML, Bots, Workforce Optimization, CRM and Contact Center is essential.

Customer Experience is gaining an astonishing amount of executive mind-share. Cisco has a seat at the table with these executives. You will help us to continue to gain share, grow as a company, and deliver breakthrough results to our customers!

This is a drivers seat, quota-carrying, individual contributor role on a team of accomplished and driven professionals. That said, the culture of collaboration and ingenuity is alive and well on this team its our greatest collective asset. While your role will be very much direct customer-facing, experience working with Partners to deliver a total solution is a plus.

Who You'll Work With

One Winning Team Engagement - Effectively facilitating joint initiatives with cross-functional teams (Services, Customer Value Acceleration team, Capital, Partners, etc.) and strategically engaging cross functional resources to achieve their goals and hit their numbers.

Who You Are

You have a consultative solutions/business-value problem solving approach to engagements with C-Level and senior executive leaders. The financial acuity necessary to develop and present a comprehensive business case.

  • You have the ability to work across multiple dimensions of building a Team, Business, Practice.
  • You have sales and/or sales management experience for a technology provider, integrator or enterprise IT delivery organization.
  • You have strong communication and listening skills, a detailed approach to sophisticated problem solving, managing to metrics.
  • You have positive relationship leadership skills with a genuine understanding of how to identify build and lead confirmed relationships with multiple key decisions makers within large accounts
  • You are a subject matter expertise on how our Collaboration platform can assist our customers in transforming the way they drive productivity across their business processes.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • 10+ years IT/Collaboration experience and a consistent track record in leading and winning impactful Collaboration Sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in launching & executing of Sales Programs with Channel partners
  • Understand, articulate and position Cisco's Collaboration vision both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with key competitors such as Genesis, Amazon, Five 9, InContact, Avaya, highly desired
  • Pervasive software selling skills are a plus
  • Contact Center skills and familiarity also a plus
  • You should have excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as good listening and strong presentation skills
