Auto req ID: 230571BR Job Description The Breakthrough Insights Senior Manager is responsible for driving the insights agenda for two key breakthrough innovation initiatives: Personalized Nutrition and Sodastream Professional. The Personalized Nutrition component of the role will sit within the API (Advanced Personalization Ideation) center (part of the larger Wellness and Health Management initiative), facilitating agile concept and prototyping workstreams, while the Sodastream Professional component will be a core part of the cross-functional team scaling up this breakthrough innovation. Responsible for designing, executing, and delivering global insight studies to uncover consumer needs, Jobs To Be Done, and executional elements that will guide marketplace solutions Representing the consumer in all workstreams: Driving empathy-first approaches during the ideation and idea refinement stages by creating close working partnerships with R&D, Design, and Marketing teams Lead highly iterative test-and-learn workstreams using rapid prototyping to get behaviorally driven insights through a combination of qualitative and quantitative inputs Develop resight documents from multiple thick & big data streams in support of senior leadership meetings. Take frequent initiative in discovering and curating consumer and category trends into strategic implications and creative inspiration designed to push traditional thinking Build strong, two-way relationships with insight category leads, ensuring a truly collaborative approach to foundational insights, innovation, analytics, and tracking Become a champion of Global Insight team capabilities: ensuring internal capabilities are being constantly maximized and improved #LI-USA Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 10 years in insights, planning, client-side innovation roles and/or marketing & innovation consultant roles, with experience in custom qualitative and quantitative consumer research (50/50 balance of qual & quant experience) 5+ years of experience in the qualitative exploration of JTBD/use case development 5+ years of experience in brand and product concept writing 5+ years of experience in design research, design thinking Minimum Bachelor's Degree. Advanced Degree a plus Bonus criteria: Experience from the tech sector and/or appliances in user experience research and A/B testing approaches Experience working with R&D teams on breakthrough health insights Can operate in a global matrixed organization with cross-functional teams Must be willing to travel up to 15% Preferred: Highly empathic team player who has a passion for new concepts contributes to idea development and is an enthusiastic learner Well-versed in research methodologies and possess the ability to apply insights to address business challenges Culturally curious & passionate about behavioral sciences must have a global mindset, ravenous appetite for trends, culture and human behavior Creative problem solver with a highly organized approach to managing complexity an out-of-the-box thinker, able to think creatively & holistically, must be comfortable with high levels of complexity and open-ended questions Strong ability to balance consumer insights with a keen understanding of the business context, in order to achieve optimal impact on cross-functional stakeholders.
