Qualifications - Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. 4 additional years can be substituted for a degree. 1 year experience using a source code control system on developmental programs of similar scope and complexity is required.
Responsibilities Responsible for establishing and implementing a formal CADM program for classified and unclassified hardware and software code, documentation, and drawings using MIL-STD-973 as a reference. Maintain CADM automated software configuration status accounting/library storage and control systems and a repository for filing, cataloging, and retrieving baselined software, documentation, and drawings. Will review statements of work for security compliance, prepare and review accreditation documents, maintain a current suspense file of accreditation documentation, participate in external and internal compliance inspections for the storage of classified documentation and classified automated data processing. Requires in-depth knowledge of government regulations pertaining to personnel, facility, documentation and delivery/receipt of classified data. Works with more junior staff to develop and review configuration management plans, software management plans, software transition plans and participate in functional/physical configuration audits of computer programs in accordance with the guidance established through the principles and procedures that the Department follows as described in DoD Directive 5000.1 and DoD Instruction 5000.2.
