What You'll Do

Component Sales Operations Senior Manager accountable for the development and implementation of the overall strategy and engagement between the Component Business Units and Cisco Direct Sales Teams, including Design Win pipeline and Compensation management.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Business and Technology GTM Strategy - Partner with business leadership including finance, sales, compensation and engineering, to enable the sales motion for market leading business and technology strategies.
  • Business Development define and implement the engagement model and overall strategic partnership between the Component Business Units in Engineering and Direct Account teams, to enable close partnership and growth
  • Operations Leadership implement and lead the compensation plans for both the business units and direct sales teams
  • Operational Execution - Provide direction to several operations teams and IT, driving process and new front-end systems requirements for sales, identifying common requirements while influencing teams to adopt exceptional methodologies and a continuous improvement culture.
  • Business Model Adoption - Drive adoption with sales, finance, ops on newly established processes related to component business. Operate newly established process in conjunction with Sales, BU, and operations. Participate in the migration of the newly acquired businesses to the new Component systems.

Who You'll Work With

The Sales Operations Manager will lead a cross functional team to develop the Sales strategy, business processes and systems needed to stand up the Component Sales Motion. This team will partner with Acquisition Integration and the business leadership in engineering, finance and sales to develop this model. This team will then lead the end to end operation of the newly established sales processes.

Who You Are

  • Sales Operations, Finance and Business Development specialist
  • Ran and led the integration of Sales teams for newly acquired companies
  • Finance background in Sales, Engineering and/or Supply Chain
  • You strive to understand new business models
  • Expertise in process reengineering and know how to partner with IT on the development of new capabilities
  • Ambitious, creative, self-starter

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven effectiveness in people and program leadership roles
  • At least 12 years of Sales Operations and Finance Experience
  • Deep experience in Sales compensation
  • Practical hand on knowledge of multiple Go to Market models
  • Forecasting, Deal approval and Customer contract experience
  • Understanding of end to end operations business architectures
  • Effective in influencing and using effective collaborative relationships for success
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence, interact, and present at senior executive levels
  • Good business sense/discernment and a strong foundation of business analytics/financial skills
  • You are results oriented, ambitious, flexible, and able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
