*Cox Automotive* is currently looking for a *Compensation Director* to join our team in* Atlanta, Georgia*. *For candidates outside of the Atlanta area, we will consider a remote employee**. *You need to reside inthe Eastern or Central time zones.

Are you a compensation guru with a passion for pay and who can handle curve balls like a pro? Were looking for someone who loves working in a fast-changing environment, where pitting your wits and your comp know-how on complex problems is a challenge you thrive on. You also wont mind rolling your sleeves up and getting your hands on challenging operational problems.


Youll know what it takes to keep pace with a fast moving and growing organization where you can create breakthrough compensation approaches across a wide range of areas domestically and globally. Youll be curious to look around corners with a practical streak to fix what you find.


*What Youll Do:*


This position requires a deep understanding of global compensation practices. Were looking for someone who can keep up and go toe-to-toe with some of the most complex business challenges whilst staying calm, cool and collected. Specifically




* Youll be a thought leader and a great collaborator

* Youll have worked in a global compensation and benefits with some knowledge of global tax and immigration

* Youll have experience working on merger and acquisition activities

* Youll be able to develop strong partnerships with our HR Business Partners and our business leads across the organization

* Youll be able to listen with empathy and bring design thinking to solve problems

* Youll establish pay programs that achieve our ambitious business objectives

* Youll obviously be great at data, but youll also be able to bring to life the market trends and insights that youll be following closely

* Youll be a champion for great labor practices that align with our values, ensuring we comply with local, state, federal and country laws

Youll be a compensation consultant with an eye for creative solutions and a head for business. Youre up-to-date with the latest global pay trends with a flair for innovation. Youll build our compensation programs with care and then steer them through to execution, keeping an eye out for the bumps in the road because you know things do (and should) change fast. Most importantly, youll enjoy working as part of a utility team where we all pull together, share work and swap roles as we run to keep pace with our fast-changing business.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in business, or related field and 10+ years of experience in Compensation; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

* Proven experience with compensation programs, practices, principals and plan governance

* Experience of deploying compensation programs effectively, including accompanying communications.

* Experience analyzing data, making sense of metrics and generating proposals

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Significant experience working in a digital and tech environment

* Experience in consulting/professional services environment
