AT&T has an opening for an Air/Ground Communications Technician to support the Northstar Program, providing critical voice and data communications to high profile government customers.

**Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:**

+ Directly interface with the customers

+ Turn-up services, test circuitry, and isolate faults

+ Defer maintenance to other offices and prepare reports

+ Deploy, install, operate, and maintain RF systems supporting government missions within the United States

+ Required Clearance: Active Top Secret

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Strong communication skills

+ A current government issued Top Secret Clearance granted or renewed within the past five (5) years

+ Valid state drivers license

+ Comprehensive knowledge of radio frequency (RF) characteristics, communications and analog/digital telecommunications

+ Familiar with CA Spectrum and Remedy

+ The ability to maintain a DOT Medical certification

+ The ability to lift and/or move up to 80lbs

+ The ability to travel up to 10% of the time

+ The ability to work shifts and carry a cell phone while "on-call

What you'll do as an AT&T Communications Technician:

+ Conduct fault isolation and resolution

+ Use test equipment such as radio frequency spectrum analyzers, frequency counters and power meters to digital test equipment

+ Interact directly with customers and support organizations/vendors that provide technical assistance during fault isolation and resolution

In addition to strong communication skills, our Communications Technicians must have the following:

+ Experience and/or training with telecommunications network troubleshooting

+ Experience working directly with customers to resolve equipment and circuit problems

+ Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) communications and analog/digital telecommunications

+ The ability to work shifts including weekends

+ Qualification on pre-employment screening:

+ Technical Mechanical Test III (TMT III)

+ Technical Knowledge Test II (TKT II)
