Auto req ID: 242190BR Job Description PepsiCos Frito-Lay division is seeking an enthusiastic communications professional to join its digital communications team. This highly visible position will be responsible for 360 story telling, story mining, and management of our content creators to share a cohesive message of Frito-Lay North Americas vision across our external channels. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, independent decision making and ability to partner with other communications team members and cross-functional partners to drive results. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They also must possess a deep understanding of existing and emerging social media/digital channels, including trends and analytics; experience managing a web presence for a public facing brand such as Frito-Lay; excellent written and verbal communications skills; a strategic and creative mindset. They must also be able to manage analytics and agency partners. Key Accountabilities: DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS LIAISON: Lead all content creation and storytelling aligning with the digital strategy, and the broader FLNA comms strategy, to build Frito-Lays digital ecosystem. Ensure teams such as internal comms, brand comms, etc., have access to all content being produced and serve as lead project manager for various content creation needs across the various functions. 360 STORY MINING: Work closely with colleagues from other communications teams to collaborate on content development and storytelling. Impart critical and strategic thinking to ongoing content development/storytelling to repurpose content where applicable and align messages across audiences to ensure ease of access to content across multiple touch points. SOCIAL/WEBSITE OVERSIGHT: Work with Social Media Specialist to engage with consumers to drive conversation supporting Frito-Lay and PepsiCo business/reputation goals. Serve as lead community manager for social media channels. Serve as early warning detection for potential/realized issues, collaborating with PR colleagues and cross-functional partners to develop response plan. Ensure social stories/calendars align with all external facing messages to create one cohesive voice across all external channels including website. Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications / Requirements : 5 years of previous experience managing digital and social media programs Bachelors Degree required, preferably in communications, journalism or business Strong understanding of social media, including new and emerging channels Proficiency with social media/digital analytics tools and processes to lead community management efforts (e.g., Spredfast/Khoros, BrandWatch, Sprinklr, etc.) Professional demeanor with the ability to represent the company among a variety of stakeholders Excellent writing skills with the ability to develop materials under extremely tight timelines Demonstrated problem solving skills Demonstrated results with program development and project management from beginning to end Team player who works well among a diverse team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Accurate and detail-oriented Sound judgment and independent decision making Strong understanding of PepsiCo/Frito-Lay and the broader consumer packaged goods industryRelocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
