Auto req ID: 250102BR Job Description Role: Communications Senior Analyst, Juice Plus Job Description PepsiCo is seeking a Communications Senior Analyst to join the team of seasoned PR professionals supporting PepsiCos Juice Plus portfolio. The person in this position will play a critical role in supporting internal and external communications on behalf of both chilled and ambient juice brands including Tropicana, Naked Juice, KeVita, Izze and Frutly. This role works closely with brand marketing and is responsible for contributing to marketing and business objectives through the development of PR strategy and materials, media strategy and outreach, budget management, agency support and execution. In addition, the person in this role will protect brand reputation by supporting key issues, as well as play a role in developing the strategy and execution behind internal, employee-facing and sales communications. This role reports into the Senior Manager of Communications and is based in Chicago.NOTE: \"This role is currently part of the PepsiCo organization, but as a result of an announcement made on August 3, 2021, this role is planned to transfer to a new Juice Joint Venture entity owned by both PAI Partners, a European Private Equity firm, and PepsiCo, contingent on final regulatory approval and closure of the related deal. \" Accountabilities: Serve as communications advisor to Juice marketing team on external, brand-focused PR initiatives Develop creative and on-strategy communications plans that leverage media and influencers to support campaigns, innovation launches and ultimately are designed to build consumer-centric brands people thirst for with disruptive, bold PR efforts Effectively execute day-to-day media relations and PR programs, thinking differently about how to deliver earned media impressions in scrappy, innovative, progressive and culturally relevant ways Provide thoughtful and timely review of external marketing content for any potential reputational issues Assist with internal communications and change management efforts for Juice business unit Support internal communications focused on employee engagement efforts to build internal advocates for programming Translate external consumer marketing campaigns and product innovations for an internal audience and find new ways to excite and empower employees around Juice initiatives Manage multi-channel communications vehicles and content creation (e.g., business-wide Town Halls, letters from executives, online platforms such as Yammer and LinkedIn Elevate) Support Sales team in the development of customer communications needs inclusive of customer letters, recognition / incentive programs, content for internal communications channels and sales field engagement Support communications needs around the new Juice Joint Venture, across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders Additional support Oversee the work of two different agency teams, ensuring flawless execution and rigorous measurement Manage the monthly budgeting and invoicing to ensure a rigorous process is in place and funds are used efficiently Assist in the management of communications related to issues and crises affecting the portfolio Compensation and Benefits: Expected salary range is $66,000-$95,000 Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement Other benefits, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Qualifications/Requirements 6+ years of PR experience managing brand communications in a fast-moving consumer goods category preferred (agency or large corporate entity) Outstanding media relations skills including strategic planning and the ability to story-mine and pitch top-tier reporters Strong expertise in navigating influencer programming and protocols Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentations and media materials Ability to think out-of-the-box to approach projects on time and within budget Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to counsel and drive alignment with key stakeholders Willingness and ability to collaborate, navigate and represent a communications point-of-view in an organization with a variety of internal stakeholders Ability to operate with agility, speed and precision in a fast-paced, on-demand environment Proficiency executing end-to-end plans independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or other design platforms is a plus, but not required Strong agency and/or client relationship management skills Poise and executive presence that inspires trust among leadership Bachelors degree from four-year College or University, preferably with focus on Communications/Journalism/PR Some travel required (post-COVID environment; 2-4 trips / year) Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
