Job Title: Commercialization Senior Manager

Duties: Take a cross-functional, cross-organizational viewpoint on commercialization to understanding what is required, what works well, and what can be improved for each function/organization to document and synthesize information and make recommendations on improved processes/procedures to enable faster, more agile product innovation. Review sales volumes, capacity figures and resource allocation data to help optimize processes for product innovation, and support new connected device machine development by analyzing and interpreting telemetry data coming off of the connected device. Responsible for the master workstream timeline and accountability schedule for major future product innovations to address how things could be improved, and prepare and review cost analysis for the organizations products. Document and organize current and desired future procedures for new product innovation of SodaStream platform. Develop and manage integrated, cross-functional commercial timelines to support on-time delivery and execution of priority initiatives by negotiating timeline with cross functional team to ensure delivery against required market timelines, aligning the launch date with the leadership team based on the timeline, managing regular meetings to hold cross-functional, cross organizational team members accountable for their deliverables, and identifying risks. Lead cross-functional meetings and drive against key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables in partnership with the Senior Director of SodaStream Growth Initiatives and/or the VP of Beyond the Bottle, by ensuring project plan is on track, making key decisions to ensure timely execution of required tasks, and facilitating stakeholder alignment on critical decisions. Develop and execute strategy for business unit to shape the SodaStream and/or Beyond the Bottle long-term growth and portfolio development, in collaboration with leadership by identifying and overseeing key strategic priorities to ensure financial targets are met, developing of short- & long-term strategic product roadmap for product launch, and preparing a redundancy plan to overcome the changing environment and unforeseen conditions. Identify and escalate potential risks to senior stakeholders while working creatively to find contingencies or potential solutions by developing a mitigation strategy based on past learnings and idea generation. Engage and partner effectively with local markets and global functions (R&D, Design, Insights, Finance), as needed. Serve as analytics point-person on projects, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights and recommendations. Define and review key project performance metrics while overseeing the analytics team to guide analysis and potential recoding of data as needed. Translate data with Insights team into meaningful information to enable objective decision making, and derive executive-level summaries/recommendations based on data analysis. Execute against time-sensitive requests from the EVP, SodaStream and Beyond the Bottle; VP and GM, Beyond the Bottle; Senior Director, SodaStream Growth Initiatives; and cross-functional business partners, and act as a primary point person for operational/commercial requests related to periodic Board of Directors presentations, presentations to the PepsiCo CEO and presentations to the PepsiCo Presidents Executive Council (PEC) delivered by the EVP SodaStream and Beyond the Bottle.

Qualifications/Requirements

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have ten (10) years of cross functional experience within the CPG business to drive product commercialization that leads to new product innovation. Must have four (4) years of experience with: development and commercialization of new beverage CSD innovation products; project management and PM tools (FMEA, RACI, Microsoft Project, Stage Gate); Strategy and Portfolio management; and analytics and fact-based insights. Must have three (3) years of experience with: writing project scope statements and project charters; and working with globally based and culturally diverse teams through virtual meetings. Must have two (2) years of experience with PMI methodology. Travel required 20% of the time.
