This high-visibility position will support the development of future commercial strategy across channels (Retail Small Format and Large Format and Foodservice) and customers for the entire West Division of Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA). The Director will partner with the marketing team to regularly drive category reviews to identify growth opportunities and white spaces. Additionally, the director will help drive channel & retailer prioritization and strategy development. The Director will work with sales teams as well as the rest of the functions in the organization, (e.g., innovation, brand marketing, customer management, supply chain, finance teams) to develop insights utilizing relevant data & analytics to help inform these strategies As opportunities are identified, including strategic opportunities for M&A, partnerships, innovation, the director will be responsible for supporting the initial opportunity assessment. The Director and his/her team will support early pilots and the broad implementation of new strategies by working closely with the field organization. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for tracking the success of the new strategy, providing problem-solving support and revising implementation elements as needed. The Director will help coordinate and support the commercial annual planning process and quarterly business reviews. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for developing presentation materials for senior leadership reviews of strategy, plan and implementation status and support PepsiCos Strategic Plan (PSP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development This role requires excellent conceptual thinking, strong people leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree in business, economics, strategy or related field; Masters degree preferred Minimum 7 years experience with strategy consulting firm background preferred Advanced analytical skills Prior Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred Prior Commercial and/or Strategy experience preferred Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization Excellent project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding PowerPoint and deck writing skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent computational skills, e.g., advanced Excel Results-oriented strategic thinker who demonstrates a bias for action with a can-do approach to work Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment Must be authorized to work in the United States Skills and capabilities Bachelor's Degree, Master Degree preferred Strong analytical skills: the ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely Ability to work independently, and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support Self-starter, ability to work independently without constant direct supervision Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment, agreement, and commitments Strong planning/organizing skills: capable of managing major projects simultaneously Strong ability to work within and be successful in a highly matrixed environment Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan Ability to develop compelling selling stories leveraging key analytics and converting insights to action in store Collaborative with strong ability to influence Sr. leaders internally and externallyRelocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
