The newly formed Data + Analytics Team is creating business-ready data sets and technologies, which are considered products, to serve various business needs across the global PepsiCo organization. We are positioning the solutions so the business can easily shop & select for the reliable, certified and trusted products they need to drive improved decisions and business outcomes. We aspire to build the capability for self-service so our business partners can be served quickly and with high satisfaction; however, we anticipate the need to configure the application of our products to specific business requirements, regions, units, and brands. Conversely, for created products and assets, there will be the need to demonstrate and communicate the business value to various stakeholders to support their adoption and to surface opportunities for incremental product development. The Solutions Consulting Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role to seamlessly align business requirements and technical solutions for PepsiCos Commercial functions, spanning Consumer Insights, Marketing, Media, Revenue Management and Category Management. You will partner with other Data + Analytics groups to holistically map the Commercial key stakeholders, discover users needs, surface scalable opportunities, scope relevant solutions, and create the blueprint to deliver highly valuable data platforms, products, and analytics projects which exceed expectations and deliver maximum impact to the business. As a Senior Analyst, you will collect requirements, synthesize common themes, and share feedback to project/product managers/owners to prioritize the development, maintenance, and improvements in our offerings. You will act as an integral connection point with data consumers across PepsiCo and technical teams to support development, utilization, and enhancements throughout the lifecycle of initiatives including design, development, delivery, training, vendor management, system integration, usability, adoption and business value KPIs and measurement. You will be the advocate for optimal user experience while considering technology features/constraints, privacy, security requirements, and other considerations throughout the data lifecycle. Additionally, Solutions Consulting will support data product and platform launches and maximize impact to business use cases. You will empower adoption and utilization of data products for a wide variety of applications, initiatives, and strategic objectives as experts in the newly created assets. You will collect and share best practices across teams. This consistent level of engagement pre- and post-launch will position Solutions Consultants as a key source of guidance inspiration for updates to existing products and future Data Ecosystem priorities based on quantitative and qualitative evaluation of usage and impact. Accountabilities Accountable for consulting on various solutions for the Commercial functions Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business functions and surface their systematic needs, in partnership with Value Realization team Advocate on behalf of business users with highly technical audiences (within Data + Analytics, IT, and external partners) to prioritize product features that will increase adoption, usability, and utility Build relationships with key internal data thought leaders, practitioners, and influencers across functions to inform how data is used most impactfully at PepsiCo, share new developments, proactively address concerns, maintain an open dialog about data needs and opportunities to embed data into essential business processes and initiatives Remain in close contact with Data Management & Operations, Product and Data Science teams, as an expert of available and in-development solutions, to effectively evangelize and offer to various business teams within Commercial units Responsible for demonstrating the application of data products and services across Commercial Leverage frameworks to manage ongoing workstreams of Solutions Consulting initiatives for Commercial Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of relevant Solution Consulting, Product Management, IT Relationship Management, Insights/Analytics Projects, Product Ownership, or related functions Experience building relationships and communicating with Fortune 50 executives (Manager to Director+) Experience working with Commercial functions at Food & Beverage/Consumer Packaged Goods companies, including Consumer Insights, Marketing, Media, Revenue Management and Category Management Expert in translating business needs into tech requirements that provide customer delight Expert at surfacing business needs and outlining technical solutions with immediate business application leveraging disparate data sources, technologies, and applications Expert storyteller that can tailor messages to a wide range of audiences and data familiarity levels Expert in identifying overlapping requests/initiatives and harmonizing requests into scalable solutions that meet the needs of many Extensive experience as a user of data or with data/technical teams to inform product roadmaps, envision and define programs, write detailed functional specifications, and delivering projects with excellence Familiar with current best practices in digital and data platforms and products Track record of building gold-standard processes to develop and implement data/technology solutions to end-users, including impactful launches and post-launch support Experience with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques Expert in operating in a matrix function to scope project requirements Skills, Abilities, Knowledge 5+ years experience with progressive responsibility in a combination of data management, engineering, reporting, and quantitative analytics Product roadmap creation and implementation expertise able to transform a business problem or question into a solution leveraging data and technology Master ability to cater your message according to the audience at hand, such as simplifying business needs to be understood by highly technical teams and vice versa World-class relationship building based on collaboration, creative problem solving, challenging status quo and limitations with challenging stakeholders and senior executives Able to develop and articulate vision and strategies which will evolve how associates interact with data from the uninitiated to the most advanced users Able to work across functions and disciplines to envision solutions that go beyond articulated requirements Able to create project plans that can cater to short-term needs while building sustainable and scalable long-term solutions Demonstrates resilience, curiosity, trustworthiness, and confidence Consultative approach to complex business challenges dependent on data Knowledge and experience in Data Warehousing and Big Data Experience with Agile, Dev Ops and traditional SDLC methodologies Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines Able to receive ambiguous requirements/feedback from all levels of data users, process the information, and translate it into potential solutions on the fly then convince technical teams to implement solutions World-class communicator who can lead and manage relationships across organizational boundaries and vendor relationships Able to seamlessly transition between visionary/strategic focus and hands-on data utilization Experience with executive-level communications, tracking project
