**Role summary:**

Pfizer has established a chief digital office which will lead the transformation of Pfizer into a digital powerhouse that will generate patient superior patient experiences that will result in better health outcomes.

The purpose of the Commercial Performance Measurement team, which is part of Commercial Scaled Analytics team within the Chief Digital Office, is to develop and evolve how Commercial Performance tracking and analytics are delivered at Pfizer. One of the team's top priorities is to develop and manage standardized descriptive analytics solutions that provide actionable business insights accurately and effectively.

The Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of global descriptive analytics solutions working collaboratively across Pfizer Digital, vendors, as well as other functions at Pfizer. The Solutions Manager will also work to enhance the descriptive solutions and processes to create best in class descriptive analytics at Pfizer.

We are looking for an experienced, tenacious, collaborative and results-driven IT/Business analytics professional to manage and improve our global descriptive analytics solutions. In addition, the Solutions Manager is expected to manage and improve the processes surrounding the global descriptive analytics solutions at Pfizer by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

**Role responsibilities:**

Reporting to the Director, Commercial Performance Measurement (Team Lead), the Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing and improving global descriptive analytics solutions and supporting processes.

+ Partner with the global and regional Scaled Analytics teams, Biopharma Operations, Analytic Tools and Platforms team, as well as external vendors to improve the descriptive analytics solutions

+ Be responsible for the change request management, drive the prioritization process for changes and enhancements, and assist in hands-on technical troubleshooting

+ Oversee vendor operations, e.g. prioritizing tickets, incidents, quality assurance

+ Identify, understand and document business requirements

+ Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to enhance the global descriptive analytics solutions and the associated processes

+ Translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications, and conversely translate technical specifications and business rules into business verbatim

+ Become a subject matter expert of global channel reporting and data products

+ Embrace a culture of high performance, transparency and continuous improvement

+ Lead by example by showing creative problem solving, adaptability, and demonstrate outstanding collaboration as well as operational excellence


**Professional Experience and Educational Requirements**

+ 5 years of experience from building and/or managing descriptive analytics solutions using tools such as DSS, Alteryx, Informatica, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.

+ 5 years of hands on experience working with DevOps tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Githhub

+ 5 years of hands on experience of developing interactive analytics and data visualizations

+ Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred

+ Fluency in English

+ Experience of working in an international matrix organization

+ Experience from IT operations is beneficial

+ Experience as project manager / product owner is beneficial

+ Experience of Agile is beneficial

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment

+ Exceptional verbal, written communication and organizational skills, along with interpersonal skills that allow for collaboration across a diverse group of people
