Job Description

The Gatorade Commercial Finance and Revenue Management Manager helps ensure that the Sports & Fitness Business Unit delivers topline and profit growth. The role partners with Sales Strategy and Sales Finance to develop national Gatorade and Propel pricing strategies and evaluate potential investment opportunities for Grocery and E-Commerce accounts. The Manager also leads Gatorade Revenue Management analysis, including providing insight into competitive pricing trends and supporting long-term price/pack architecture development.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide insight into National Grocery results and expected future performance, partnering with Sales Strategy and Sales Finance to understand potential risks/opportunities and recommended actions
  • Evaluate potential trade investments, including customer-specific incremental funding requests
  • Support the development of national and channel-specific pricing strategies for Gatorade and Propel
  • Lead analysis to support development of long-term Gatorade price/pack architecture
  • Lead Gatorade and Propel AOP pricing modeling and support the development of channel targets
  • Lead pricing analysis for Gatorade and Propel, including internal (NAP) and external (retail pricing) results/expectations as well as category and competitive trends
  • Assist Gatorade Marketing team in communicating drivers of business performance and potential actions through the period POR process



  • Bachelors Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)

  • MBA or CPA is a plus

Work Experience:

  • 6 - 9 years of experience and practical exposure in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, Sales Finance, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control. Functional finance experience is a plus (e.g. Brand, Operations, etc.)

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes

  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling

  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization

  • Results-oriented with ability to initiate and lead projects to completion

  • Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications

  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision
