What You'll Do

The Commercial Office team within the EMEAR Service Provider Sales Organization leads the closure of custom commercial agreements. The Commercial Business Manager drives high touch proposals, negotiations and contracting for strategic and customized offers.

This pan-European role supports strategic and multi element deals from a commercial perspective to deliver customized proposals and agreements. This includes delivery of solutions, software license agreements, and cloud service agreements. Focusing on commercial solutions to make successful the customers and Ciscos business case. Working with the sales team and customer to find zones for a negotiated agreement. Additionally the role is the center point for the commercial operations supporting customer negotiations and leading internal alignment and decision-making process.

To be successful in the role, you will need to;

  • Support the creation and negotiation of complex, multifaceted long term and/ or frame commercial agreements.
  • Support customer negotiation process and collaborating with customer.
  • You will work with sales, legal, finance and all other cross functional teams, handling internal process, policies and negotiations.
  • Be a part of virtual pursuit teams in a matrix organization
  • Review and analyze content and commercial structures for proposals from a commercial perspective (business case, terms and conditions, risk).
  • Negotiate contract changes and manage contract disputes and proposal process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Dynamic, motivated and competent individual contributor who can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a time pressure environment.
  • Sharp and insightful with details and effective and quick decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of service provider or SaaS market, having held contract management, account management, strategic procurement/ sourcing, legal or financial management roles.
  • Negotiation experience in complex and long term deals having demonstrated ability to defend commercial positions, create zone for negotiated agreement and close contracts.
  • Excellent communications skills, including ability to present commercial contract information and business cases to all levels of management, customer and/or external audiences
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a global multi cultural and matrixed organization.
  • Advanced University Degree
  • Additional European Language fluency.
