You will join a multifaceted, multi-layered Engineering team that is responsible for providing user and API access to our best-in-class Cloud Security SaaS product. What youll do?

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking and motivated Technical Leader, who can

• Help build highly available, fault-tolerant, secure and scalable globally distributed applications using the latest cloud services and tools that provide industry-leading security to millions of people worldwide
• Define architectural vision and roadmap for product
• Influence the direction of product development decisions and partner with peer groups to execute on a complete vision for market leadership and industry perfection.
• Drive the technical design and implementation aligned with our vision of a highly reliable and scalable cloud platform.
• Work closely with the Product Manager, Engineering Leaders and Staff Engineers to ensure the best patterns and practices are used to craft industry-leading reliability of our software applications and services.
• Ensure that all development practices are carried out as per the standards followed within the organization.
• Bring an attitude of developing simple solutions to complex problems.
• Be a technology enthusiast and innovator introducing new tools and technologies
• Help recruit world-class cloud engineers and collaborate with and mentor our robust team of cloud platform engineers.

Who are you?

You are a hands- on Technical Leader who enjoys wearing many hats, a self-starter whos willing to jump headfirst into the codebase and start improving it. If you have tried a few different tech stacks and have your favorites, thats a good sign. Or, if youve got proven multi-tier experience and youre a fast learner, this would be a superb opportunity to branch out.

Preferred:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
• 10+ yrs of experience working as a Lead or architect on highly transactional, 24x7 production cloud and SaaS environment
• Experienced in leading teams with highly technical individual contributors
• Experience in architecting, crafting & developing highly scalable distributed applications and services
• Hands- on experience in building and operating applications on public cloud platforms (preferably AWS): compute, database, and storage
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CI/CD systems
• Sound knowledge of Internet security issues and the threat landscape
• Ability to work in agile delivery mod, with ownership and accountability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
