Auto req ID: 245519BR Job Description In this role, you will: Work with relevant sector leaders to define and create sector-specific application migration plans Manages all aspects of cloud migration projects including initiation, execution, and delivery. Manages multiple stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Operations, and Sector CIO teams Define and follow the migration playbook with emphasis on capturing the advantages of operating in the cloud for migrated applications Build detailed application migration plans in collaboration with partners and other stakeholders and drive consensus on these plans Support the Cloud Pursuit roles and work with other stakeholders to define and build the business case for cloud application migration by business unit/sector Lead the overall migration projects per business unit/sector Define and measure relevant cloud application migration KPIs to ensure overall program health across budget, infrastructure currency, migration efficiency, etc. Lead Cloud Migration factory initiatives across various sectors (LATAM, PFNA, PBNA, AMESA/APAC, Europe, PGCS) and execute the moves to the Public Cloud Understand and identify cloud-native services that can be leveraged as the traditional on-premise model shifts to a cloud-native service offering (and architecture and migration methods) Partner with Service Providers to ensure service levels, key performance indicators, and other migration metrics are met through regular reviews Partner with Architects, Compute and Network Engineers, Information Security, and other stakeholders to assist in the design, communication and implementation of Strategies, Technology Roadmaps, Standards, Processes and Services and validation of their cost-effectiveness Partner with Information Security and Global Controls organizations to ensure security, audit, SOX and compliance requirements are met across infrastructure services for any applications migrated to the cloud Partner with Asset Management, Capacity and Performance Management for Global IT Servers, Storage Provide change governance and change ownership across the execution of migrations Partner with Architecture and Engineering Leaders to establish criteria and execution that ensures the proper transition from Engineering to Operational areas for project delivery and production support of services, while ensuring optimized cost Provide support and leadership to help with other areas of Cloud Services by leading the triage of complex problems as needed to ensure restoration or quality of service and support critical incidents when required Partner as needed with Risk and Compliance to lead development and ownership of in-scope cloud recovery plans and ensure regular review of Disaster Recovery plans and tests, validate costs associated with Disaster Recovery plans and potential ways to optimize cost while still providing recoverability for migrated systems Develop opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration, and excellent Compute service delivery Provide technical consultation to application teams migrating to public cloud-based on a joint assessment of existing application technology and deployment model Partner with application teams to assess appropriate testing strategy for migrated applications Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field Experience: 8+ years of related IT business work experience 5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure principles and methodologies 5 years of relevant experience with Infrastructure delivery and/or operations 2+ years of cloud migration experience including assessing migration methods and optimization of optimization of cloud cost (IaaS and PaaS) Preferred: 2 years of experience supporting application development and software engineering functionsMandatory 'Technical' Skills Experience working in a multi-cloud environment with demonstrated experience leading cloud deployment projects (including cloud-native development and migration) Solid understanding of Containerization and Virtualization technologies such as VMWare, docker Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar tools for tracking, developing, deploying software Experience with Configuration, migration and deployment efforts related to Azure or AWS IaaS/PaaS Technologies Experience in a hybrid multi-cloud environment both IaaS and PaaS offerings Experience in cost estimation for cloud hosting (including both cloud hosting costs and software licensing) A working understanding of code and script such as Shell and PowerShell, Python and Perl Preferred: Solid understanding of networking concepts (BGP, DNS, Load Balancing, firewall and core Internet), including CDN Ability to participate in ownership orchestrating workshops with IT/Business teams and facilitate interactive sessions on cloud application migration scope, migration strategies, and application/infrastructure modernization Agile or other project management certification is a plus Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Vendor management experience Proficiency in managing multiple projects in the public cloud, e.g. Azure, AWS Understanding of infrastructure and cloud technologies, principles, and methodologies Experience at scale, migrating to the cloud (< 50 applications migrated) Experience with running programs and initiatives with remote teams in multiple locations Define program level resource plans and effectively
