The Clinical Training Specialist, On-Site Solutions is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, consistent training of clinical staff members at the various employer on-site locations. Training will be inclusive of all processes, procedures, workflows and EMR systems. Additionally, the trainers will have the ability to mentor low performers and guide improvement of service delivery. Collaborates with the Medical Director and site leadership and works in conjunction with On-Site Solutions Operations and Human Capital Teams on issues (employee relations, physician relationships, regulatory compliance, orientation, etc.). This role will involve periods of travel, across the platform of employer on-site locations, estimated 75-80%.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize virtual training methods and travel to on-site clinic locations to provide training (primarily to clinical employees - RN/LPNs, MAs, RTs, EMTs), pre and post opening as needed. This may include new hire onboarding for clinical employees, professional growth training, compliance and regulatory training and new site training as needed
  • Provides training support to non-provider and provider staff
  • Provide training on all areas of clinical operations including policy and procedures, systems, culture, center operations, professionalism and other areas of daily operation
  • Coordinates training of new clinical employees, including monitoring progress of new clinical employees and coordinating and participating in yearly training requirements
  • Provides regular feedback to employees and management on proficiency and performance during training
  • Provides additional training or -refresher- courses to low performer
  • Supports the design, development of training materials, planning, coordination and execution of training program
  • Stays current on all policy and procedural updates and applying updates to curriculum and learning materials
  • Makes independent decisions to adapt training to the learners needs, as required
  • Assists with logistics, transportation and coordination of materials, site locations and hardware setup
  • Drives excellence in all aspects of training
  • Trains on patient centered medical home certification and staff compliance with programs / processes
  • Acts as the catalyst to ensure staff are passionate about delivery of genuine, caring and friendly healthcare; maintains a culture of excellence
  • Ensures 100% compliance with the MedExpress Compliance Program and compliance with federal or state licensing requirements for both the On-Site Solution and staff
  • Complies with and follows policies and procedures as outlined by MedExpress
  • Maintains HIPAA at all times
  • Other duties as assigned such as new models of care, new types of procedures, etc.
  • 75-80% travel required
