Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Drives Data Analytics for the LA Community andState Plan
  • ""
  • SME for Data Analytics for the Louisiana Community and State Plan
  • ""
  • Engaged in developing a strategic approach for effective, efficient and informative data analytics across the entire Louisiana Plan Clinical Enterprise based on organizational, market and economic priorities
  • ""
  • Identifies technical and operational analytic barriers and shares with the various clinical teams in the Louisiana Plan Clinical Enterprise to determine a solutioning action plan
  • ""
  • Drives data analytic concepts and strategies for Medical, as well as, BH/PH integration from a provider and member perspective to provide actionable data to all of the clinical teams including Population Health, ACO, Utilization and Case Management teams
  • ""
  • Coordinate, create and lead efforts for a strategic data analytic plan with requisite integration of local plan leaders, Optum Serve and National UHG leads for Community based Initiatives as needed
  • ""
  • Create, Complete, and Evaluate standard and adhoc request as assigned by UHC Healthy Louisiana Senior Executives
  • ""
  • Master all of the clinical/claims documentation systems data entry fields to aid in the process of linking data tables from backend databases and reporting software such as SAP Orbit, SMART, Health Plan Manager
  • ""
  • Ensure that all of the analytical/operational needs are met for the UHC Healthy Louisiana Plan on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ""
  • Previous experience with data analytics in a healthcare environment
  • ""
  • Advanced experience in MS office suite to include, PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Pivot tables)
  • ""
  • Resident of the state of Louisiana
  • ""
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
