The Clinical Manager has the responsibility of clinical oversight for all mobile/tele-video assessors, provides clinical training for all assessors; clinical review and oversight of clinical assessment documentation ensuring the appropriate triaging of patients is made to the most appropriate level of care; and supervises the daily schedule of assessors to ensure suitable coverage to contracted clients.


  1. Provides clinical supervision of the mobile and tele-video assessment team evaluators (assessors) and clinical leads.
  2. Maintains staff by recruiting, interview, selecting, hiring, training, scheduling and general supervision of assessors; responsible for disciplining employees, up to and including termination of employment.
  3. Supervises the daily scheduling of MAT assessors to ensure appropriate coverage to contracted clients within 1 hour for mobile assessments and within 30 minutes for tele-assessments.
  4. Responsible for case staffing coverage.
  5. Assists with the daily through-put of patient placement at appropriate level of care.
  6. Executes required daily reports and updates to contracted clients.
  7. Provides daily clinical review of clinical assessments of MAT assessors to ensure appropriate level of care is being recommended and documented, at least 3 referrals are being given, documentation tools are being utilized; performs monthly chart audits and conversion reports.
  8. Addresses any clinical complaints by referral sources or contracted clients.
  9. Maintains excellent daily communication with the contracted client ERs and Hospitals regarding patient case status.
  10. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, practicing good standards of
    customer service.
  11. Responsible for the upkeep of timely credentialing records required by contracted client hospitals.
  12. Responsible for the training of assessors on client EMR systems as required by contracted client hospitals.
  13. Holds month clinical education meetings for assessors to provide updates on process changes within client accounts, new OPC procedures, results of audits, etc.; identifies additional training needs.
  14. Responsible for mandatory annual corporate compliance training to mobile assessors.
  15. Processes biweekly mobile assessor payroll timesheet to Payroll personnel.
  16. Collaborates with executive director and business development liaison in marketing efforts for BHC programs and development of new business.
  17. Adheres to all BHC policies and procedures.
  18. Adheres to all service excellence standards.
  19. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

Master's degree and licensure required (LPC, LMSW, LCDC, LMFT, RN). Previous experience as a Clinical Manager required.
