Reports to the Sr Dir, Client Strategy. The Client Strategy Director is responsible for building, expanding, and maintaining strategic insights for our Enterprise Sales and Account Management teams. He / she will work with Cox Automotives largest and most complex OEM and Lender clients and is dedicated to helping grow Cox Automotive revenue.
The Client Strategy Director is responsible for the entire suite of Cox Automotive products and will lead efforts to identify, evaluate and analyze revenue growth and retention opportunities that will allow our Enterprise clients to achieve their objectives. The Client Strategy Director will evaluate opportunity economics and operational feasibility.
The Client Strategy Director will work very closely with Client Partners, CAI Account Directors, and the client to design and implement the account strategy. He / she will also provide strategic direction to all sellers who have individual revenue responsibility for the account.

* Manage high-level relationships, in partnership with CAI Account Directors, with our Enterprise clients to help them derive maximum value from their investment in Cox Automotive brands
* Work within a cross BU account team matrix, identify and size new opportunities for revenue growth and retention, and collaborate with all sales teams to ensure growth attainment
* Provide a holistic brand strategy to lead the evolution of CAI from individual business units to a unified sales strategy
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients business challenges and objectives
* Conduct detailed analysis, aggregating datasets, insights, KPIs, and other resources to support profitable Cross-Cox opportunities
* Create a Strategic Account Roadmap in collaboration with the Enterprise Account Management, positioning the capabilities of Cox Automotive to help clients achieve their goals
* Contribute to quarterly account planning meetings to unify and execute the Enterprise clients brand plan and strategy roadmap
* Contribute thought leadership and best practices internally around strategic challenges and solutions for our key Enterprise clients
* Partner with and Influence organizational functional support (e.g. marketing, operations, pricing, product, etc.)
* Provide visibility into OEM Client Strategies and associated gaps in Cox Automotive offering/solutions
* Document and archive outcomes of executive meetings, opportunities, action items, etc., using available tools/Dashboards
* Create content and collect research and analytics to support high-level executive meetings and guide the Consumer Journey for the client in coordination and support of CAI sales pursuits

* 10 years of experience as high-performing contributor in a strategy, analytics, or finance role
* Strong knowledge of business processes (e.g. sales, marketing, service, support)
* Strong executive presence and polished communication skills
* Expertise and experience dealing with large, complicated accounts at the most senior business levels (c suite and principles), preferably with recent direct hands-on executive experience
* Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster honest dialog
* Ability to create and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations and story-lines to rally organizations around transformative efforts
* Ability to work strategically with a wide array of groups; from analytics to marketing to sales
* Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating collaborative executive meetings and workshops
* Proven experience managing within a matrixed team
* Knowledge of cox automotive product and platform features, capabilities, and best use preferred
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (day and overnight trips)
* Bachelors degree (with a focus of business, marketing, strategy, finance, or project management)
* Mba preferred
* Experience managing people preferred
* 5-10 years of automotive experience preferred
