What You'll Do

This Cisco.com Content Model Lead position is responsible for how Cisco.com and the content on pages are structured to support the different user and business goals across Cisco.com. Personalization is a key principle in the sites strategic direction, and it is encouraged that the Content Models will detail when and where personalized content is best used. This includes the full customer journey from discovery, research, purchase, and post-purchase experiences and entails pages across articles, products, solutions, case studies, support and business specific content like About, Careers, and more. The success of this role is reflected directly by the efficiency of a customers ability to achieve their objectives, aligned with Ciscos business goals.

  • A self-starter that will establish relationships across Cisco businesses while providing consultative mentorship to achieve customer objectives.
  • Lead, scale, and project manage the creation, maintenance, governance and change management of how page content is structured on Cisco.com.
  • Influence and detail the structure now and in the future for Cisco.com
  • Define content model important metrics and measure impact
  • Bring personalization strategies to life across Cisco.com in partnership with engineering and optimization.
  • Work with Brand, Solutions Marketing, Digital, Regions to scope content models and prioritize needs.
  • Scale the content model strategy across teams and functions, partnering with key partners and regions to ensure alignment and socialization.
  • Mentor content creators to maintain clearly worded, efficient experiences.
  • Be a specialist of prospects and customers by incorporating analytics, heatmaps, customer intent, customer surveys, and partner feedback into the experience models that cisco.com content is built upon.
  • Define and shepherd the future of content on Cisco.com through via expertise and partnerships with subject matter specialists across the organization
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure content on Cisco.com is built and presented in modern, scalable formats including content fragments, product information management (PIM), content management system (CMS), and personalization platforms
  • Will work closely with customer intent insights to ensure Cisco.com is constantly evolving to meet users needs.
  • Work with our International Lead to ensure content models scale across Ciscos 59 sites and 27 languages.

Who You'll Work With

You will report to the Cisco.com Lead, who manages a cross functional team responsible for the overall strategy of Cisco.com. This team includes strategic leads for SEO, Customer Insights, Internationalization and Scale, Analytics, Digital Platforms and Campaign and Launches. In addition, youll be working closely with content engineering and Adobe AEM specialists from Ciscos IT team to ensure that capabilities present and built meet Cisco.coms strategic needs.

Who You Are

You are a marketing leader with vision with experience in designing and building digital experiences.

Our Minimum requirements for this role:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with emphasis on web design
  • Driven team member with experience leading matrixed and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in key digital subject areas, including: B2B, Information Architecture, Content Management, Web Design, Adobe AEM
  • Expertise in objective based results, tracking and reporting
  • Experience in personalization of content on the web
  • Experience navigating digital publishing processes
  • Familiar with marketing industry standard methodologies and benchmarking
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate succinctly in written and verbal media
