What You'll Do

Cisco is looking for a innovative, inspiring, solution oriented leader who will manage multiple projects as part of our Circular Economy program. You will be identifying and aligning new opportunities, building business cases, and implementing new operating models. You will work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to drive a successful circular economy program for all of Cisco.

You'll support the Circular Economy program in setting strategy and managing the implementation of initiatives, in a role that requires data analytics, metrics, workplans and relationship building. You will build and facilitate cross-functional teams, and hold those teams accountable for their individual contributions to the overall program.

Who You'll Work With

When you work with us, youll be part of a highly empowered collaborative team who's passionate about our sustainability vision: what's good for the world and good for business have never been more connected. We are a team of change agents with strong business problem solving skills passionate about opportunities to be a catalyst for our customers' transformations.

Who You Are

You are an ambitious person who has experience and real passion for sustainability, particularly circular economy. You are not afraid to take ownership of big, groundbreaking projects that involve calculated risks to the business. You can expertly manage and drive key circular economy projects that are in-flight and also help bring new circular economy projects to life.

At a minimum, we expect you to have

  • an MBA or other Master's-level degree (Sustainability or Environmental-related programs are preferred but not required) and 2+years experience in program or project management, or
  • an undergraduate degree (BS or equivalent) preferably in business, project management, or engineering-related fields and 8+ years experience in project management.

You should also have demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, data analytics, and change management. Experience with sales operations, product design, engineering, supply chains, materials, and data analysis (especially environmental impact assessment) will be strongly beneficial.

Why Cisco

#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference. Heres how we do it.

We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think were old (30 years strong!) and only about hardware, but were also a software company. And a security company. A blockchain company. An AI/Machine Learning company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do you cant put us in a box!

But Digital Transformation is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)

Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, we give our egos a break and we give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, we take bold steps, and we take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a dedication to equality for all, there is no moving forward.

So, you have colorful hair? Dont care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots? Thats cool.
