The Chief Marketing Officer / IEX Leader will lead end to end marketing including: Brand, Creative, Acquisition, Media, Member Communications, Member Experience, Internal and External Comms, Sales / Broker Support and Digital (Acquisition and Member) to support this new divisions strong growth objectives. This role is a Chief Marketing Officer for a small but strategic growth division of UHC. This leader will anticipate consumer shopping and buying trends, experience and retention opportunities and lead our digital strategy to prepare the organization for rapidly changing consumer preferences.

This leader will work with our Executive leadership team to align UnitedHealthcares overall value story and ensure that we have a compelling and consistent brand, creative and content strategy. The position will oversee growth and retention for this business and work across the enterprise with critical partners to execute on our plans including omni-channel delivery of our products, services and capabilities. Additional responsibilities include maximizing performance and effectiveness of a large and productive marketing investment across media channels (Digital, TV, Direct Mail, Print, Out of Home etc.)

This leader will have a deep understanding IEX competitive landscape and develop strategies to support growth through product innovation, consumer experience, broker / sales innovation and overall marketing strategy. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee marketing and growth strategy
  • ""
  • Creative development, brand management, positioning and narration of the UHC IEX value story
  • ""
  • Manage and optimize, through testing, the execution of advertising and marketing campaigns for customer acquisition, sales support and lead nurturing for IEX products across media and channels
  • ""
  • Oversee ongoing analysis and reporting of campaign performance (customer acquisition cost versus LTV) by audience segment
  • ""
  • Work closely with strategy team, regional leaders, product teams, agents, field leadership, Market Area managers, and other key constituents to aid in the development of marketing plans that integrate and align at all levels
  • ""
  • Partner with Sales and Field Distribution teams to innovate and evolve consumers strategies in a multichannel environment. Lead all sales support, broker marketing and events in partnership with Sales
  • ""
  • Lead member experience including member communications, retention strategies, member experience roadmap and strategies
  • ""
  • Lead digital acquisition and member digital experience and partner closely with internal and external partners on execution

  • 15+ years in progressive Marketing leadership roles
  • ""
  • 10+ years leading Digital Experience
  • ""
  • Experience developing value propositions and messaging
  • ""
  • Experience managing creative and media agency relationships and vendors
  • ""
  • Direct to consumer marketing experience with multi-channel sales approach
  • ""
  • Experience in planning, executing and measuring campaigns in a complicated, matrixed organization
  • ""
  • Experience developing and executing multicultural marketing
  • ""
  • Experience in digital acquisition (SEO,SEM, Social, Display, eMail) marketing
  • ""
  • Very strong analytical and financial management skills
  • ""
  • Extensive marketing strategy, analytics, data-driven marketing and project management experience
  • ""
  • Experience leading teams

  • MBA or other advanced degree

Colorado Residents Only: The salaryrange for Colorado residents is $169,500 to $322,500.The role is also eligible to participate in UHGs annual bonus and long-term incentive plans.
