Sodexo is looking for a Catering Chef Manager in New York, NY


As a Catering/Chef Manager you will be responsible for  planning, directing and successfully executing daily orders for all catering events. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of customers as well as leadership, placing orders, and working along side the Catering Director for all food,supply purchases and inventory.  You will also need to understand how to develop recipes, menus, and food cost pricing.   This is a great opportunity for a talented culinary professional who doesn't always want to be hands on, but helps train and develop the culinary team and front of the house staff.    


The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems

Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

Key Duties- Executes the culinary function.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Handles administrative functions. 




Qualifications & Requirements
