**Sodexo** is seeking a **Chef Manager** to join our food services team at **Addison Gilbert Hospital** located in Gloucester **, MA** **.** Addison Gilbert Hospital is a full-service, 79-bed medical facility which specializiesinclude: acute and intensive adult inpatient care, cancer care, cardiology, pulmonology, geriatric services, endocrine, pain management, outpatient sleep, wound care and emergency medicine.


This position will provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement. This position will manage 20 full time employees in a union environment.

**The successful candidate will:**


+ have oversight of day-to-day operations;

+ successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;

+ deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations;

+ achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

**Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:**


+ has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;

+ has a CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) or a Registered Dietitian

+ has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

+ has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

+ can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and

+ can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.


+ Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision.

+ Oversees daily operating procedures to ensure continuity of department goals while ensuring all policies, procedures and department goals are being achieved daily.

+ Works closely with Director/ GM on special planning and departmental projects.

Employees in Healthcare and Seniors are required to be fully vaccinated as a term and condition of employment at Sodexo no later than February 28, 2022, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and upload proof of vaccination via an online portal.


After February 28, you must be fully vaccinated before you can start work. Fully vaccinated by February 28 means:


+ Obtain the first dose of a two-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022; and the second dose no later than February 28, 2022; or

+ Obtain one dose of a single-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022
