Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Chef Manager for Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes, a small memory care facility located in Bradenton, Florida.  This Chef Manager will assist in the oversight of food service operations serving and cooking for up to 60 residents.  Position will report to the General Manager and will manage a staff of 6 FT and PT hourly employees.  Typical shift will be 8:00am - 5:00pm with some weekends.

Are you the experienced Chef Manager were seeking?

 

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations (dining room service);
  • deliver high quality food service and ensure diet compliance;
  • provide hands-on cooking for several meal periods;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • create a positive environment; and
  • ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate:

  • has 1-2 years food service/culinary management experience ideally in a healthcare environment;
  • has a food production background;
  • has a knowledge of safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
