This position is open to working remote and requires approximately 50% travel
What Youll Do: As the Channel Partner Manager you will execute on the strategy to build relationships with large service providers that act as a reseller of Cox Automotive services. It will be your responsibility to execute sales growth leveraging relationships with other automotive finance and service market participants. There are existing 3rd party commercial relationships that need to be managed, where this team member would establish a program management framework.
You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, understanding and clearly articulating value of incremental channel partners as well as establish mitigation strategies for channel conflict. Deep knowledge of the automotive financing business including, but not limited to lenders, aftermarket (VPP) providers, aggregators, LOS providers, and 3rd party sales agencies business and operations.
You will leverage skills related to channel management to grow the scope of our business relationships, identify relevant incremental sales opportunities, direct and indirectly related to the role, and help our BU partners achieve their objectives, you will also partner internally to build a robust account strategy and create opportunities to expand the depth and breadth of our products and services.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Ongoing Partner Support - manage the partnership, ensure success of the partner selling services, drive the partners to meet or exceed allocated goals/value creation,
* Recruit new commercial (B2B) partners, specifically sales agencies, aftermarket providers/distro channels/underwriters, and LOS - Qualify, On-board, Coordinate Training, co-branding and joint marketing
* Business development and negotiation to create new commercial relationships, promoting the growth of the CAI collaborating business unit; e.g. F&I Express, Dealertrack
* Develop leads for sales team members to sell into the business channels developed through these partnerships
* Pipeline creation - Business Planning, Go to Market Campaigns, Joint Events
* Joint Selling - assist with customer meetings, demos, quotes, proposals, as well as, closing deals - involved with negotiations, close cycle
* Jointly partner with CAI Marketing teams and channel partner marketing teams
* Connect and partner with the internal business stakeholders to stay abreast of internal changes, enhancements and product road map offerings.
* Participate in the creation and management of company-wide customer feedback loop and definition of ideal customer

*Compensation:*

* Compensation includes a base salary of $85,000 - 100,000. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates experience.
* Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or and incentive program.

* *Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.*
*Preferred:*

* 5+ years of combined experience in sales, client management, account management and/or program management
* 3+ years of managing or influencing indirect sales team to accomplish specific goals
* Knowledge of automotive retail/automotive lending processes and practices strongly preferred
* Proven ability to strategically position and sell high value set service offerings, navigate corporate politics, establish and build long-term relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, and drive long term value through partnerships
* Ability to influence internal executive sponsors and stakeholders to fund and drive transformative strategies, products and projects
* Successful track record of industry thought leadership and the ability to interact with and support executive-level communications and interactions
* Effective time management & proven ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities and team member expectations in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
* Demonstrates a high level of integrity, handling sensitive and confidential information with tact, discretion and judgment
* Up to 50% overnight travel, post covid travel restrictions
