Job Description

Primary location is Purchase, NY. However, open to considering candidates in Plano, Chicago, NYC, Green Park, Barcelona and Mexico City.

This is a strategic and dynamic role that is positioned to drive effectiveness - creating value through the identification of valuable data assets and viable data partners. It will work in collaboration with Data Acquisition, Governance and across Commercial, Procurement, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, Vendors and more (navigating account team through to contract negotiation).

The Analyst of Data Partnerships Partnership Viability, will be a key player on the emerging Global Data Partnerships Center. The Data Partnership Center will initiate and develop strategic data partnerships and innovative solutions to drive business value, speed, and business impact.

Moreover, this person will support building capabilities and best practices in data acquisition and data partner management and will support best practices across the enterprise.

This role will be the lead research analyst for Commercial data partnerships, responsible for ascertaining the viability of data partners and the specific data assets included in any data partnership.

Key Accountabilities

Help support building a Global Data Partnership Center

  • The first line of identification and evaluation of a data partner
  • Assist with the onboarding of new data partnerships
Support building the Global Data Partnerships Strategy
  • Determine if existing data partnerships meet the needs of the Commercial organization
  • Proactively research and understand the global landscape for Traditional and Non-Traditional Data and identify new data sources and opportunities.
Help Implement Strategy & Drive Customer Satisfaction
  • Support the Data & Analytics Product Portfolio by identifying partners that can be used to improve decision making and intelligent action by consumers, the enterprise or other organizations
  • Support ensuring the Global Data Partnership Center offers a satisfying service to the business in a timely manner and proactively helps our business partners identify the most effective and valuable External Data Products
Optimize Data Partnerships
  • Help manage and optimize the partnership structures by identifying valuable partnerships that have a long-term sustainability trajectory and partnerships with the ability to expand in scale
  • Help identify and raise redundancies in data partnerships and redundancy in resources who are involved in this activity

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years firm/company as investment analysis
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing digital data partnerships
  • Minimum 3 years experience in CPG goods industry experience, or related analyst focus
  • Bachelors Degree, Masters a plus
Experience:
  • Demonstrated analytics skills and use of multiple software tools
  • Experience in assessment and analysis of vendors/investment opportunities
  • Experience in evaluating the financial viability of a firm/company
  • Experience in evaluating the viability/sustainability of a data type
Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:
  • Strategic Contract/Account/Vendor Management
  • Metadata Management and Governance
  • Knowledge of accounting
  • Knowledge of digital data asset trajectories
  • Robust data knowledge in consumer & scan/syndicated
  • Willingness to learn
  • Can operate in a fast-moving, changing environment
