Overview This role will help to enable accelerated growth for PepsiCo by contributing to the marketing and insights analytics team within the HBU. Primary responsibilities include Category Assessments to inform the HBU team of Category dynamics in the marketplace, lead the building and analyzing of information to support POR discussion, support the JBP process and lead regional customer discussions through the JBP process. In addition, the role will be in control of creating/updating existing dashboards, delivering periodic and on-demand performance reviews, and addressing ad-hoc requests based on internal and external data sources. This role will support marketing and insights teams across Sabritas and Gamesa with responsibility for FLNA regions and regional grocers. Responsibilities will include knowledge transfer from the business and flawless delivery of recurring reports. Once established, the role will execute optimization of the content and processes, including ad hoc questions and overall automation of delivery where applicable. You should be able to demonstrate how you have used insights to build powerful selling stories and enable business performance. Collaboration and ability to work cross-functionally will be critical to your success. Top candidates will have transferable experience in Category and Commercial Insights. Responsibilities STRATEGIC THOUGHT LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITIES: Quaker (Gamesa Warehouse and Sabritas Nuts) and FLNA (Sabritas Salty and Gamesa DSD) Support the strategic marketplace evolution of insights and capabilities. Wire across Strategy, Consumer Insights, DX, Customer Teams, Sales Strategy and Planning to synthesize drivers of market performance. Commercialize new marketplace insights reporting and communication. Promote and foster a \"learning culture\" by monitoring in-market performance and leveraging key learnings to set direction for future strategies/plans. Integrate information from many sources and develop actionable insights and recommendations. Design and create compelling, clear and concise presentations for senior management Create planograms that incorporate sales and expertise of the cookie and savory cracker Category. Additionally- This role will gather insights to provide a perspective of the Hispanic shopper in these categories. AOP Coordinate the relationship across National CCO and Regional Customers in order to facilitate bottom-up build on need for programming across Quaker and Frito-Lay. Partner with cross-functional team to ensure targets are resulting in share positive results in all Categories that HBU portfolio currently competes in (Cookies, Savory Crackers, Nuts and Seeds, and Salty) Partner with FLNA and QFNA Sales Category and strategy teams to track performance within Categories that span across CCO Customer teams, Regional Leadership, and additional Advisorships. JBP Coordinate the relationship across National CCO and Regional Customers for the HBU Selling Organization Partner with cross-functional team to develop JBP Discovery and create pre/post Discovery account assessments Partner with FLNA and QFNA Sales Category and strategy teams to execute Big Bets rollout to the Region Field Teams and Support Key Customers Partner with HBU Beverage Shopper Insights lead to develop relevant insights based on the US Hispanic behaviors and tendencies to enable HBU expertise within Frito-Lay, Quaker, and among Retail partners. Lead, design, and structure insights needed for HBU in collaboration with DX Shopper Insights team. Influence annual learning agenda to ensure shopper knowledge is being collected and studied specific to retail needs based on feedback gathered from individual JBP meetings throughout the JBP selling cycle. Score-carding/Streamlining Develop Marketplace tracking that can be utilized to inform Leadership teams across Quaker and Frito-Lay for total portfolio that is streamlined and comprehensive. (Currently does not exist today) Coordinate Category Insights with XF team for QBR process and content for PORs across HBU to provide consultative analysis of the competitive landscape Lead, design, and streamline standardized reporting for HBU including POR, QBR, Category assessments, and Competitive assessments. Coordinate consumer centric, omnichannel sell stories that tie to HBU priorities as we commercialize opportunity through the cross-functional organization People coordination and development Partner with MBS associate to foster a team environment and strengthen our teams reach Lead trainings for the HBU team (ex. Reporting Tools, JBP process, DX Capabilities) Work cross functionally with sales planning, finance, marketing, and supply chain to ensure delivery of relevant insights to implement a cohesive; compelling category centric approach to insights. TECHNICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Exceptional leadership Strong planning/organizing skills, capable of managing major projects simultaneously Passion for problem solving and seeking positive resolutions and outcomes Strong use of influencing skills to gain alignment across internal/external key stakeholders Strong analytical skills to build Data Driven narratives Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively at all levels of the organization Excellent category analysis, conceptual & critical thinking skills. Keen attention to detail across multiple data sets to synthesize performance drivers or identify quality data issues Strong understanding of the Food and Beverage retail environment, past experience with Customer and/or Category data considered a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Including Strategic-framing storytelling and Advanced problem-solving capabilities Results-oriented strategic thinker who demonstrates a bias for action with a can-do approach to work Ability to work independently, and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support Team player with the ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment Qualifications Bachelors degree in business, economics, strategy or related field Minimum 3-5 years experience with CPG or strategy consulting firm background preferred Advanced analytical and communication skills High competency with scan-based data sources (IRI, Nielsen) Prior Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred Prior Commercial and/or Strategy experience preferred Proven collaboration abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills Must demonstrate both analytical and creative thinking abilities Exceptional communicator (verbally and written) - Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages and present in a visual and compelling way Supporting JBP customer and AOP brand planning Note: COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role.
