The Cash Posting Coordinator reports to the Cash Posting Manager and provides payment posting and administration support to the Revenue Operation Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

""
    ""
  • Opens and sort daily mail and forward to Lockbox for processing
  • ""
  • Process daily correspondence files from Lockbox
  • ""
  • Extract PDF lockbox documents and allocate documents to designated folders
  • ""
  • Prepare Collection PDF Documents for scanning for upload to Right Fax
  • ""
  • Process return mail for undeliverable Billing statements and Refund checks
  • ""
  • Handle all Medical Records Requests
  • ""
  • Review monthly PIP Reports and provide Attorney Correspondence
  • ""
  • Process assigned Billing Packets for Clinic payments
  • ""
  • Post payments, write off, reversals and adjustments as required
  • ""
  • Answering patient phone calls and resolving patients issues
  • ""
  • Assist Team Lead and Cash Manager with tasks assigned
  • ""
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner by following all Company policies and procedures
  • ""
  • Uses, protects, and discloses patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • ""
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with the staff, clinics, ancillary departments, and management
  • ""
  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience with medical payment and adjustment posting for both electronic and hard copy format

  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
