The Carrier Relations Rep II is a team member with strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. This team member will be responsible for fully supporting and guiding our contracted carriers to ensure their overall success. This team member will foster strong relationships with our local and national client account support teams to maintain clear and transparent communications and updates between our internal team members, clients and carriers. The Carrier Relations Rep II maintains strong relationships with our carrier business partners as well as field and internal team members to provide insight and transparency to potential service failures and issues.

* Job Responsibilities*

* Conducts Carrier Performance Reviews with contracted carriers (Weekly and Monthly).

* Contracted Carrier Problem Assistance and Resolution.

* Escalations and resolution with problem locations.

* 30-60-90 day business review for feedback on CCL (Carrier Contracted Lanes) and L2L (Location to Location) exceptions.

* Hyper Care calls with extended ops team and NAM team.

* Performance watch on lanes with exceptions with recommendations to the business.

* Deep dive performance metrics and identify foundational issues that prevent a carrier from being successful and help develop improvement plan.

* Penalty assessments.

* Provides insight and guidance to our contracted carriers to ensure ultimate success of the carrier and the client.

* Reviews weekly and monthly carrier performance scorecards with carriers documenting areas for improvement, performance conversations, carrier feedback and problems resolved; feedback and suggestions to the business where potential operational opportunities for improvement exist.

* Support ad hoc projects.


* Strong Communication skills in order to build and maintain strong and lasting partnerships with our contracted carriers.

* Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities and projects.

* Develop and maintain key processes established by the business.

* Assist in solidifying and contributing to a communication cadence with assigned contracted carriers.


* Strong understanding of the auto transport industry, carrier types, truck types and capabilities.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create process solutions.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Ability to communicate overall performance wins and opportunities to carriers and managers.

* Passion for and understanding of the automotive industry and ecosystem.

Qualifications: *Minimum*

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* 2 or more years direct experience with customer service and/or operations.

* 2+ years automotive industry and/or logistics experience.

* Servant team member with ability to build strong trusted relationships.

* Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed environments.

* Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships.

* Intermediate Excel Skills.

* Work Environment*

* Occasional exposure to weather conditions, and noise.

* Long periods of sitting or standing in an office environment.
