Cox Enterprises is seeking a self-motivated Recruiting Events/Candidate Engagement Specialist to support the Cox Talent Acquisition (CTA) team in delivering phenomenal recruiting events that build relationships, generate excitement around our company, grow candidate pipelines, and amplify brand awareness.
The Recruiting Events/Candidate Engagement Specialist will be responsible for consulting with clients on recruiting priorities, conceptualizing event themes, preparing and managing event timelines, partnering with Employment Branding to increase event visibility and interest of target audiences, as well as tracking and monitoring lead capture to ensure the continued effectiveness of Recruiting events.
The Recruiting Events/Candidate Engagement Specialist will demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in organizing, hosting, and evaluating the effectiveness of events against business objectives.
*Job Responsibilities*

* Serve as a trusted CTA partner by creating and implementing recruiting events plans that support Talent Acquisition strategies and build talent pipelines for all Cox companies (Cox Communications, Cox Automotive, and Cox Enterprises)
* Partner closely with CTA stakeholders as well as Campus/Early Careers, and Diversity & Inclusion teams
* Partner closely with our Employment Branding team to develop and deploy Cox employment brand - through all channels including career booth design, marketing collateral, email marketing campaigns for key talent segments, etc.
* Plan scope and format of events
* Organize registration of event and ensure proper coverage
* Ensure all activities run smoothly and the desired candidate audience is being reached
* Monitor event activities to ensure the satisfaction of participants and resolution of any problems
* Organize, track, and manage recruiting event activities across multiple markets and locations
* Maintain shipment of and track materials and collateral for event inventory and orders
* Coordinate services for events, such as venue/facilities, signage, displays, printing/publication needs, sponsorship, audio-visual equipment, shipment of materials
* Capture and maintain event lead tracking protocol to ensure the effectiveness of the events success through proven ROI (Leads captured)
* Conduct post-event evaluation to determine how future events could be improved
Qualifications: *Minimum*

* 3+ years of professional relevant experience - experience will ideally be a combination of event planning, talent acquisition/recruiting, and project management
* Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and manage events
* Demonstrated expertise consulting with clients on recruiting priorities and making recommendations to solution for gaps
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
* Strong presentation skills
* Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
*Preferred*

* Bachelors degree in public relations, hospitality, marketing, or other related degrees
* Experience managing to a budget of $100K+
* Demonstrated ability to plan and execute an average of 75-100 career fairs annually nationwide
* Oversight of large national and project management of networking events
* Client-group facing customer service or support
* Technical aptitude or expertise with related technologies, such as recruiting CRMs, virtual events platforms, and event tracking software strongly desired
* Strong preference for talent acquisition/recruiting experience working with hiring managers to fill difficult roles
* Experience in a Talent Acquisition or Recruiting department in a corporate setting is strongly desired
