This position will provide business process excellence expertise by employing process and data analysis, process simulation and process improvement services.



Key job responsibilities:



+ Design, develop and deliver business process simulation models to meet the needs of business clients

+ Provide leadership in facilitating the development of process models that reflect the critical aspects of a business process

+ Provide process analysis expertise including, but not limited to, application of advanced methodologies and tools (e.g., process simulation) to key strategic projects to deliver business value

+ Analyze process and performance data to understand current performance trends and identify opportunities for improvement

+ Collaborate across key stakeholder groups to provide insight on recommendations for process optimization including providing alternatives (e.g., process simulation scenario analysis)



Qualifications:



+ A minimum BS degree with 14 years experience, MS degree with 12 years experience or PhD degree with 9 years of experience in a scientific or technical field preferred (e.g., engineering or STEM discipline)

+ A minimum of 10 years experience in the design, development and application of process simulation models and/or application of advanced process analysis tools and methodologies is required

+ A minimum of 10 years of experience, knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical business processes particularly clinical, safety and regulatory processes (e.g., GCP) is preferred



Skills:



Demonstrated experience in:



+ Design, development and application of discrete event process simulation models

+ Computer languages e.g., VBA and/or Python

+ Excel and data handling to structure, analyze and translate data

+ Data visualization e.g., Spotfire, Tableau

+ Process mapping, analysis and improvement tools and techniques, including statistical analysis software e.g., Minitab

+ Leading, facilitating or actively participating in process workshops

+ Interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact and influence across many levels of technical and business staff

+ Managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and interacting across all levels in a matrix environment
