As theBusiness Development / Sales Lead Generatoryou would be responsible for activities related to generating sales leads for the Specialty Benefits sales team responsible for selling our dental, vision, hearing and financial protection products into Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) across the country. If you are looking for a visible position focused on expanding our client base and growing our members and revenue, this is the position for you!

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees work 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

    ""
  • Become educated and familiar with the MCO industry, market segments, parent organizations, health plans (national, regional, and local), and their product portfolios
  • ""
  • Perform comprehensive research and analysis on targeted health plans
  • ""
  • Build MCO organization target profiles (membership, market segments served, service area, products capabilities, current specialty benefits vendors, etc.) based on research tools and data collection
  • ""
  • Create customer acquisition plans, informed by internal stakeholders and departmental subject matter exerts
  • ""
  • Create and present SWOT analysis to internal stakeholders and departmental subject matter experts
  • ""
  • Execute and manage customer acquisition plans, including by not limited to meeting coordination and facilitation, preparing customer acquisition plan related materials, team presentation materials, and influencing the design and building of proposed client solutions
  • ""
  • Comfortable working independently and motivating self to meet stakeholder objectives and expectations
  • ""
  • Generate leads via outbound HTML e mail campaigns using Salesforce.com, cold-calling, and scheduling lead generation meetings using Microsoft Teams
  • ""
  • Be communicative and collaborative with team members on lead generation activities and feedback from MCOs
  • ""
  • Create, distribute, present status reports on lead generation activities to departmental leadership and subject matter experts
  • ""
  • Document lead generation activities (e mail and phone) utilizing Salesforce.com data base to managed Client Relations Management (CRM) functions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) OR10 years work experience
  • ""
  • Project management experience in a large matrixed organizational environment
  • ""
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create/edit documents) and Excel (data entry, sorting, filtering), and PowerPoint (creating presentations, editing slides)
  • ""
  • 3+ years health industry experience
  • ""
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
  • ""

Colorado Residents Only: The salaryy range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
