The Business Development Manager will be responsible for executing strategic selling plans and tactics designed to maximize revenue growth and profitability of key account targets in assigned geographic area for the Refreshment Services division of Aramark.  The Refreshment Services division of Aramark delivers to their clients the highest quality of office coffee, vending, and water filtration programs, products and services in the marketplace.



  • Lead sales efforts with profile accounts from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and successful conclusion.
  • Work collaboratively with local, regional and national RS team members to share information and propose appropriate customer solutions.
  • Lead the internal process for proposal and solution approval (i.e. pricing, services, contracts) utilizing field and corporate resources as needed.
  • Develop and lead strategy process with regard to:  Account Sales strategy, Competition strategy, Territory Development strategy.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the Business Development team within the Business & Industry group of Aramark to identify prospects, share opportunities and develop joint solutions where applicable.
  • Utilize local/regional resources and other Aramark lines of business partners to penetrate target markets, develop market leadership by identifying customer needs, and work with appropriate resources to develop a services solution for those needs.
  • Assist in developing customer-specific solutions and suggest techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
  • Provide appropriate market and competitive information for corporate analysis.
  • The Business Development Manager will be engaged in client rebids ,and executing plans to mitigate risk of client loss as well is responsible for ensuring client contract compliance.

  • Diriger les efforts de vente pour les comptes de grande notori©t©, du premier contact   la strat©gie, la proposition, la pr©sentation et les r©sultats positifs.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les membres de l©quipe des Services de rafra®chissement locale, r©gionale et nationale pour ©changer des renseignements et proposer des solutions client appropri©es.
  • G©rer le processus interne de proposition et dapprobation des solutions (p. ex., tarification, services, contrats) en utilisant les ressources sur le terrain et de lentreprise selon les besoins.
  • ‰laborer et g©rer le processus de strat©gie concernant :  la strat©gie de vente aux clients, la strat©gie de concurrence et la strat©gie de d©veloppement du territoire.
  • D©velopper de solides relations professionnelles avec l©quipe de d©veloppement des affaires au sein du groupe des affaires et de lindustrie dAramark afin de cibler les clients potentiels, de partager les possibilit©s et d©laborer des solutions communes sil y a lieu.
  • Utiliser les ressources locales et r©gionales dAramark ainsi que les partenaires dautres secteurs dactivit©s pour p©n©trer les march©s vis©s, acqu©rir une position de leadership sur le march© en cernant les besoins des clients et travailler avec les ressources appropri©es pour ©laborer une solution de services pour ces besoins.
  • Apporter son aide   l©laboration de solutions ax©es sur le client et sugg©rer des techniques visant   am©liorer lefficacit© du processus de vente.
  • Pr©senter des renseignements appropri©s sur le march© et la concurrence aux fins danalyse organisationnelle.
  • Le gestionnaire, D©veloppement des affaires, participera au renouvellement des appels doffres des clients et mettra en Å“uvre des plans pour att©nuer les risques de perte de clients tout en sassurant que les clients respectent leur contrat. 



  • Minimum of a BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Territory is the Province of City of Motnreal 
  • Must be Bilingual in English and French: both written & verbal 
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in dynamic outside sales environments.  Successful and verifiable track record of direct selling experience with middle-market/large accounts (financial, insurance, legal, high-tech, etc.) and experience with longer sales cycles is a must
  • Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in Windows Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. 
  • Must have professional presentation skills.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle

  • Au moins un baccalaur©at en arts ou en sciences est pr©f©rable.

  • Au moins deux   trois ans dexp©rience dans des environnements de vente dynamiques externes.  Exp©rience de vente directe v©rifiable et ©prouv©e sur le march© des petites et moyennes entreprises et des gros clients (financiers, assurances, juridiques, haute technologie, etc.) et exp©rience essentielle des cycles de vente plus longs.
  • Excellentes comp©tences informatiques et en communication orale et ©crite. Ma®trise de Windows et de la suite Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint). 
  • Doit avoir des comp©tences de pr©sentation professionnelle.
  • Doit poss©der un permis de conduire valide et un v©hicule.
