What You Will Do


Component Business Model (CBM) team is looking for a Business Architect to support the business development activities by leading end to end business process discussions to achieve solution outcomes for the business. Your main tasks will include to understand business outcomes and translate into detailed technical requirements, document as-is and to-be processes, conceive and formulate systems to achieve business strategies, partner with other technical resources to build digital solutions, and to perform user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users as well as to quickly review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.


Who You Will Work With


The CBM team is chartered to architect and build a best-in-class supply chain for in house manufacturing of optical devices. We are comprised of a breadth of skills to drive growth in this business segment. This team works very multi-functionally across all tracks within Supply Chain and externally to other corporate functions to advance the transformation capabilities of Cisco and our customers.


Who You Are


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or similar field.
  • 7 years proven ability working in a supply chain organization and/or similar domains.
  • Expert proficiency in communication and facilitation.
  • Demonstrable experience in business process design, flow, and optimization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills both at a working and executive level.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills with the ability to shift priorities in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient at working in and leading multi-functional teams.
  • Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and enable the facilitation of business outcomes.
  • Is eager to learn and apply new methods and standard methodologies.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Results focused with an attention to responsiveness and accountability.

Desired Skills:


  • 10 years demonstrated ability working in a supply chain organization and/or similar domains.
  • High energy with ability to motivate and encourage others.
  • Self-motivated and committed to continual learning.
  • Industry certification (e.g., Oracle/SAP, TOGAF) preferred.
  • Work well in a globally distributed environment.
