Primary Responsibilities:

Include monitoring MCO and provider compliance with member visits using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) technology.  Manage incoming calls, managing requests for services from providers/members, providing information on available network services and transferring members as appropriate to clinical staff. Manages the referrals process, processes incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations. This function includes intake, notification and census roles.

  • Review and ensure that all current analytical and reporting projects (ongoing and ad-hoc) are documented and placed in a centralized document folder for internal access by the team.
  • Administratively intake members or managing the admission/discharge information post-notification, working with clinical team
  • Coordinate work activities with team members and supervisors
  • Meet all assigned duties and projects within deadlines
  • Make recommendations that would enhance our capabilities for documentation.
  • Collaborate and participate in running ongoing reporting and/or analysis requirements.
  • Collaborate and participate in ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Make process recommendations, if needed, guided by policies, procedures and business plan to streamline performance.
  • Attend the following State Partner (TennCare) or Network Provider Meetings , to enhance your healthcare knowledge and building business relationships:
    • Electronic Visit Verification Meeting
    • Monthly Managed Care Organizational Calls
  • Participate in the following internal health plan meetings:
    • Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
    • Provider Network Meetings
    • Analytical and Reporting Analysis
    • Project Priority and Determination
    • Other product lines
  • Learn and support the UHC analytical team with ongoing and ad hoc projects
  • Support the UHC LTSS Operations and Audit team by ensuring that all processes are documented, and any analytical reporting projects are completed
  • Collaborate and participate in the presentations and projects for the following:
    • Health plan senior leadership team
    • Health plan vice president and director teams
    • LTSS Leadership Team
    • LTS Clinical Operations and Audit Leadership
    • CMA Leadership
