What You'll Do

As part of the Global Tax and Customs team, you will work on strategic programs to help enable the desired business outcomes. You will work with project leadership, team members, and key subject matter experts to help implement the next generation business applications. In addition, you will act as a product owner and will be responsible for documenting the overall business capabilities. You will be working on multiple projects and partnering with peers from across the Cisco business units. As a business analyst, you will identify the business impacts, perform process analysis, document the business requirements, manage the testing execution, and help drive the change management and release events. To ensure program success, you will manage effective communication between stakeholders and the cross functional teams.


This is an exciting role that will help drive overall business success and the next generation of business capabilities for the Global Tax and Customs organization.


Who You'll Work With

You will represent the Global Tax and Customs team on strategic programs and will have the opportunity to partner with the key business and IT leaders within our team and across Cisco. In addition, you will work across the finance, supply chain, and customer experience organizations to drive processes and enable key business outcomes. This role will work with the core business and IT teams and will interact with all levels of management.


Who You Are

You are an experienced business analyst who has worked on cross-functional programs that include business applications implementations. You have experience in business analysis and leading change across teams. You have knowledge and experience in Finance and well as tax. You have led or worked on programs that implement IT solutions and deliver value for the business. You are a strong communicator and are very detail orientated.


Requirements for this role:

  • B.S. in Business or related degree
  • 5 years of experience as a business analyst
  • Experience and knowledge in finance and taxation is a must
  • Have worked on project teams implementing IT solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills - written and oral communication
  • PMP/Agile experience desired and knowledge of project management methodologies plus 
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or related ERP, SAP business applications is plus
