Our CX Learning & Certification and Enablement (LCCE) A & BI group is focusing on providing proactive and comprehensive business intelligence analysis to optimize Cisco training quality, certification adoption and to enable digital transformation strategy for Cisco communities and customers.

What You'll Do

Business insight analysis and forecast modeling deliver value to the business by understanding and translating complex data and business process into timely, actionable and predictable information which enable CX LCCE key stakeholders to make business decisions.

You will work as a data analyst/scientist with information from different systems/tools and collaborate with diverse teams including training, central and regional operation, service sales and finance to deliver high-quality insights via business modeling and data analysis. You apply creativity and outstanding attention to detail to tell a story with data that delivers accurate, meaningful and impactful trending and forecasting analysis, which helps to identify gaps and growth opportunities for the business to achieve overall business objectives.

Who You Are

This is a Senior Data Analyst position. We are seeking high-energy, self-motivated and qualified candidates who possess the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years working experience as data analyst/scientist in business analysis and forecast modeling, working with extremely large datasets from multiple systems and tools
  • Knowledge of customer experience and support, understanding of Cisco Service Sales cycle, familiarity with bookings, renewal and pipeline reporting
  • Can work across multiple analytical platforms and tools, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Strong preference for expertise with decision or forecasting modeling techniques and software; SQL, Python, R
  • Minimum of BA degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science, or related field

In addition, the ideal candidate will be confident, data driven, highly organized, a strong verbal and written communicator, flexible, and able to work independently as well as in groups in order to determine the steps for meeting stated goals on time. The candidate should also embrace challenge and apply logic and creativity to resolve complex business issues in a fast-paced global environment.


  • Proactive at interacting with stakeholders to learn business processes, map data sources and obtain the required data quickly.
  • In-depth understanding of Cisco's different types of training, certification programs as well as end to end business processes and data flow.
  • Collect, analyze and document large data sets using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Apply predictive modelling to improve forecasting accuracy, increase and optimize customer and community experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
  • Build dashboards and create reports that strengthen insights and predictability into the business which can be managed with scalability and efficiency.
  • Review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain training database(s) and report key performance indicators to meet LCCE objectives.
  • Quick identify actionable insights from data and are excellent at clearly articulating findings and the recommended actions based weekly, monthly and quarterly business data analysis and insights.

Who You'll Work With

You will be working as part of CX LCCE A & BI team and collaborate cross functionally with CX Operational teams, Service Sales, Training Delivery, Customer Success and greater Cisco stakeholders in this role.
